I finally got around to some older albums I hadn't listened to in a while, namely Eminem and Alice in Chains, both killer discs that needed to be dusted off. Farmakon is an Opeth clone band pretty much, but with a little more of a jazzy twist; definitely worth checking out if you like that kind of stuff. I hadn't really listened to any Alexisonfire other than the odd single, so I decided to check out their latest and was pleasently surprised. They have a good mix of metal harmonies and melodies blended into their emo/screaming style.

I desperately need a cigarette, don't forget about your old favourites, blow the dust off them once and awhile.
