Well this has been an interesting weekend/beginning of the week. I live in an area of southern Ontario that's suffering from a landclaim disspute with the local natives, so things have been more than a mess for a while. The long weekend only brought out the violence, and after a bit of fighting the protestors knocked out the power supply to the town as well as several other towns thoughtout the county. Things are back on now and look to be getting better, but I guess only time will tell; regardless I can get back to reviewing and listening.

I managed to get a couple albums in before everything went to chaos though, and a lot of them are worth checking out:

Rush - Vapor Trails
Trivium - Ascendancy
Blind Melon - Soup (check this one out)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium (i'm still saying this is gonna be the best album of the year)
Joe Satriani - Super Colossal (if you like the instrumental stuff, Satch is pretty much the best you can find)


That's all I got for now really, I'm working on a couple others at the moment and checking out some more albums, I'll post something if i have it.
