Well what is the USB and memory slots used for? Is it just to transfer saved games? Cause then, I have no need for it. Cant you use USB memory sticks anyways? Why do you need 4 USBs?

Would be helpful if someone can explain the functionailty of these ports. Thanks

The Wii has a major problem. It's not the graphics, its not the motion control, and its not the nearly useless internet browser.

It's the Gamecube Flashback inducing lack of third party games. In the time that the Wii has been out, how many top notch games have there been?

Zelda, Metroid, Super Paper Mario, and maybe Wario-Ware.

Thats it!? 3 Classic Franchises, then 40 thousand crappy movie Tie-ins. Where is our Gears of War? Oblivion? Darkness? You have to look no further then the launch titles of the systems. The only thing good for Wii was Zelda , a GAMECUBE port (which to be fair was enough reason for me to buy the system), at least the other systems have tried for new material... And here we are, almost a year later, and still no developers doing anything worthwhile. I don't want a barnyard game, I don't want a Surf's up game, and I definitely don't want a Flushed away game.

I don't regret buying my Wii, I regret that now I have nothing to buy for my Wii...

Yeah I agree also. Although I just bought Metroid 3 and its pretty cool. Loved Zelda too. I think Nintendo is like this now. Most games will come from Nintendo and for me its worth it. I keep hoping they will release a new Starfox that is like the NIN64 version. I canthelp myself but keep playing the new Zelda, Mario, and Metroid. The system is cool enuff, but if you are a true hardcoregamer, you should also have a 360 or ps3 to supplement.

Fall is along time away.  I would buy the Premium now for a cheap price and then upgrade to Elite with new chipset when it comes out if you feel like it then.  Why wait to buy.  You'll be waiting forever.

I would recommend the Premium version with the 20GB HDD.  Not only are you saving $80, you can save alot more buying used or ebay.  Money seems to be the issue with you, so dont buy Elite.  Its the same things for more than you will use.  120 GB is good if you are going use your xbox as a media center but doesnt seem you are.  20GB is fine for all your demos, themes, and music.

The Elite still suffers from alot of issues and xbox 360 will get updated again.  Wait till then really upgrade.  The inside needs to be changed.  I bet by end of 2007, they will have better 360s.  Run quieter and cooler.  Elite is not future proof.  There will be more enhancements, I gurantee it.  Elite is nice if you have the money spend but it doesnt seem like you do, I assure you that the Premium is just fine.
