New Games

Past two weeks, I got two new games, Gears of War 2 and Dead Space. Both really fun, but I can't really give a detailed response due to the fact that my Xbox kept overheating every two minutes I played on it. Because of this, I had to get it repaired and didn't g to fully play each game. However, I did go to my friends house to play them. I have to say, Gears 2 was very emotional and had a better background story than Gears 1. Mutiplayer is addicting, especially Horde Mode. When I bought Gears , I got the Collector's Edition, which gave me a Gold Lancer. I wasn't able to make the Midnight Madness for the Golden Hammerburst, though.

Dead Space is a great single player game. Advanced graphics and scares the **** out of you. One reason I bought it was to fight my fears of playing scary video games. I never played scary games, but I wanted to start because I was missing out. I decided to start the game on Hard. I had a blast, although my herat kept beating fast. I only got to finish Chapter 1 before I had to leave for my friends house.

When Christmas comes, I'm hoping to get the Call of Duty: World at War Collector's Edition anad the FAllout 3 Collector's Edition. Usually I only get Collector's Edition for only my most favorite games like Gears 2 and Halo 3 because I don't like to have a bunch of metal boxes. I like to have the original green game case to keep my collection in unison and looking similar. The metal boxes don't fit in with it. But after I researched, I found out that both Fallout 3 and World at War come with green cases inside the Collector's Edition so this was a bonus for me. I can get the Collector's Editions with the Cod Canteen, Fallout 3 Lunchbox and Vaultboy Bobblehead, and still have the green cases.

After the New Year, I will be getting the DSi and Halo Wars Collector's Edition. I will be getting the DSi because I still have the original, bulky DS. The DSi has a better, bigger screen, better buttons, an internal and external camera, SD card slot, MP3 apabilities, and internet surfing capabilities. It's a must for me because I will be going to France for one of the clubs I'm in.

When I researched Halo Wars Colelctor's Edition, I found out it will not be releasing with a green case. However, I will still be purchasing it because the extra items it comes with are worth it. Plus, the metal case is sexy enough to get. The extra items include a graphic novel titled, Halo Wars: Genesis, 6 leader cards, Sprit of Fire patch, an in-game Flaming Warthog, 3 Halo 3 maps from the Mythic Map Pack, and an in-game Honor Guard Wraith if you preorder.

This year's going to be fun.

Holiday Release

Hello everybody. Just started using this again. Been very busy with IB and whatnot. My Xbox 360 had to go in repairs the same week I got Dead Space and Gears of War 2, which sucks. Luckily I got to go to my friend's house to beat them.

So far, this year has been hectic. The economic crisis, presidential election, and a whopping list of great games. I still didn't get everything I wanted. I'm still hoping to get Call of Duty: World at War, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead. This doesn't include the things coming early next year either, which include Halo Wars and the DSi. How will the gaming community react to the economic fall?

As you all know, our economy if failing. If it keeps up, we may be in another depression. over 500,000 people lost their jobs, Universities are droppnig students, and soon, scholarships will be harder to get and GPA requirements will rise. I don't know how far this will get but we may see a drop in game sales, releases, etc. Hopefully we don't get hit too much.

Yes, I'm still on.

Wow, it's been a while since I've been on. I've been very busy in case you hav ebeen wondering. I have to go to violin practices and practice for a recital, study for driver's permit, I had to help get ready for my 16th birthday party, keep my grades up (which I proudly got straight A's), air rifle, NJROTC, Saber Team, family, and most importantly, my girlfriend. I may not have been on a lot, but I have been keeping up with the gaming world. The plas few months have been a blast. My dad got back from Iraq, and I met my girlfriends parents for her birthday party.

Anyway, when my dad came back, he brought me shopping, and I bought a whole lot of Halo products. I bought the hoodie, magnets, pins, rocket game case, and Halo Action Clix. I also bought The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Great story. A few weeks after, I had my birthday party. Invited all my friends, hung out, played games. I got a little over $350 and the new Halo book, Halo: Contact Harvest. I am still reading it, but so far, it is an awesome book. I then bought Call of Duty 4 upon release. I have to say, I was impressed. Single player was intense, but I haven't played multiplayer yet. I'm waiting for my girlfriend's brother to get it. Oh, I also got a NES belt buckle. Woo!

This was and is probably the best year of my life, and for the gaming world. I'm not going to go into detail on my life, but for the gaming world, this is probably going to be the best holiday line up of games. Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Orange Box, Super Maio Galaxy, Rock Band, Guitar Hero 3, Phantom Hourglass, and much more. If only I had a job.

So Far So Good

I know It's been a while since I've been on here but that's because I hadven't had my computer. I just got the new computer I ordered a week ago because the one I bought crashed, so I had to return it. Hm, anyway, my Spring Break was good. Been playing Oblivion a lot. Hung out with my girlfriend, and went to Drill and Sops practices. I also went to Spring Camp at the Marine base. It was fun.

As for video games, Shivering Isles came out. I still need to get it, along with Guitar Hero 2 which I'll be getting tomorrow. As of now, my wish list for this month is Super Paper Mario for Wii, Pokemon Diamond for DS, Shivering ISles expansion, Guitar Hero 2, and the 2 new Halo 2 mps that were just recently announced. One more thing, Linkin Park's new hit single from their upcoming album, Minutes to Midnight just got released. It's called what I've dne and it's one of my favorites.

Some changes.

Hey everyone. I decided I'm going to make some changes on here. I'm going to start being more active. The time I've had my Gamespot account, I haven't been very social so I'm going to start by getting more involved in things. Secondly, I am going to use my blog for more than just what happens in my life. I will probably start these changes once I get a new computer in a few weeks, my current one is very broke down and old; it only has about 195 MB of memory left.

The past few weeks.

Well, it's been a while since I've been on here. I've had to go to two performances for UDT at Open House and AMI, Sops practice for the upcoming WAC competition, and 4 projects.

AMI is the Annual Military Inspection for my NJROTC. Our area 13 manager, Captain Wencelsao came and inspected us in our uniform. I was so nervous. I worked on my uniform all morning, plus, he was suppose to ask question about our Chain of Command and orders to the sentry. If you do good in both and get a score of 10, you get the Expemplary Personal Appearence ribbon. When he got to me, he said my shoes weren't that shiny, so he gave me a score of 9. I was pissed. Anyway, after that, we had lunch and then a drill competition. Our platoon did bad. Soon after was the assembly. I had to perform with my UDT team. It was cool.

Today, I have to go to a high school mind and body challenge. 20 people from our school (half boys, half girl) have to compete with other schools in a questionare and an obstacle course. I'm pretty sure winners get money. The reset of the weekend I'm palying video games since this is my relaxing weekend (finally have no homework and finished my two "single person" projects), except for Monday. I have to be at school by 4:30am because I have to go to the Aloha Run. After that, I'm going ot my friends house to finish our group project.

Lastly, I added some new games to my Wish List. It's now up to 44 games. I started playing Obivion again, and I bought Sneak King from Burgr King. A few days ago, I went to my friends house who recently got a Wii, and we played Raving Rabbids. It was fun. I also played his Hotel Dusk: Room 215. It was addicting. Anyway,  I gotta get ready for the competition, so I'm leaving.

My Break.

Well, I'm nearing the end of my Winter Break. I go back to school in a few days and I still have homework to do. My family from Michigan and Australia are here, though, because my came back from Iraq not too long ago. so we went to a luao, the beach, and then flea market tomorrow. they live first thing Monday morning.

Anyway, I've been play Twilight Princess lately, and I've got to say, this is a truly beautiful game. I think I like it better than Gears of War. Twilight Princess gives you more sense of accomplishment, and exercises your brain with all of it's puzzles. I'm trying to beat it before school since I doubt I'll have time to play it after school.

Merry Christmas!

Today I had a good Christmas. It didn't really feel like it though. We didn't have a Christmas tree, or my dad (He's in Iraq). I was depressed this morning, too. I got clothes, money, Invicible DVD from my friend, cards, this traveling backpack, this really awesoem suit, and a Wii with Call of Duty 3 and Double Agent (I'm trading them in for Twilight Princess and another game, not sure yet.). I also got these boxers from this girl.

When my dad gets back, I'm getting the Creative Zen (or iPod), and some games.

PS3 and Wii soon!

Well tomorrow the PS3 releases. I'm disapointed that I didn't pre-order it. If i did, I woulda sold it on eBay. I woulda gotten like 1,200 dollars. I woulda had enough for the Zune! Wii comes out soon too. I'll get it for Christmas.

I have so much homework though. I have a History day project, Science Fair experiment, English paper, Geometry project, and science homework to finish. I'll have to get to work.

Sorry

Sorry for the long delay. I've been busy with school, ROTC, Sops, and hanging out. Hmm, well I just got 600 dollars for my birthday and I bought Gears of War Collectors Edition, and the 360 Wireless Headset (kinda dissapointed, it doesn't really fit). I have 490 dollars now and I'm trying to save up for a 650$ HDTV. For christmas I'm going to get the Wii. Oh, and I preordered the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. That's about it.
