last remnant actually has many above average difficulty bosses. mainly because its so hard to level up in that game. only way is to kill bandits in the cherry pavilion. took a good week to max out char's.
for $5 its for sure worth it. the skill learning and setting is pretty much identical to that of Lost Odyssey. all the menu's and everything were very similar to LO but LO was a much better game overall. Blue Dragon has a bit more childish feel to it, the way the game tells you how to do everything when its very obvious. it was worth the 20 bucks i paid for it here when i was just looking for an rpg to play until Star Ocean 4 came out. buy it, play it, sell it for profit :)
i think fans of rpg's like myself look at the strategy aspect of turn-based combat. also rpg's typically offer many more hours of gameplay (usually 40+ hours) compared to most fps games (less than 10 for most). more bang for your buck. check out the Last Remnant's turn based system. very interesting twists in its system. i enjoy playing the different types of turn based rpgs to learn each games new type of system, they are all fun to use and with progress in the games they become more engaging. overall its fun to level up in these games and create an unstoppable force by the time u reach the end of the games. compared to other games you just go out and button mash and people say they have strategy in their mashing of buttons. i enjoy all game genres but i just enjoy how these types of rpgs engage the gamer and bring them into a new world with many hours of gameplay.
Lost Odyssey = worth every penny, and top of my list for favorite 360 games Last Remnant = good story / bad technical problems Blue Dragon = ehhh, if i were ten it would have been cooler Infinite Undiscovery = ummm, not so much. especially if your looking to get 1000/1000, next to impossible Fallout 3 = fun sh**
this game was very enjoyable if you can look past the slow texture pop-ins. its really not too distracting though once u get used to them. download it to your HDD, takes like 4 gigs a disk though but it will be much faster. i recommend getting it for the pc if you have a decent gaming cpu as the pc version fixed many problems with the game and has added a lot more that would make it much more fun to play. the story i thought was great and when the maps were rendered they looked beautiful. definitely worth a play through!
by the looks of Assassins Creed 2 so far i would say i would pay $60 for sure for that. havent paid full price for a game though, just wait till they drop
