1) DS Light it may be more expensive but its wayyyyyyyy better

First of all it's less chunky

Doesn't hurt your hand as much holding it

Has a light setting( Lighter or Darker)

It's more rectangular shaped so it will fit in your pocket easily

Slim and sleek

2) DS is still pretty popular and it's really fun because a lot of people have it. It might be a while until a new nintendo handheld comes out. Since nintendo is still working on coming out with new stuff for wii i think it might be a while.

3) To be honest i really don't know.I think maybe a couple more might be made i'm guessing maybe 2.

4) You should be looking out for games like FF( Final fantasy) They are really good rpg games and games from square cnix. I personally enjoy their games. Also mario games their pretty good and it's lots of fun to play with friends =]

I suggest you should get a DS Lite and if your really into your ds and don't wanna pay for each game i suggest you get a...
