Agree with above ^^^ Dont get it if you just want a shooter (third person, too). It is a fantastic RPG so if you enjoy a great plot with a whole lot of decisions to make that affect everything, then grab it - its a steal to buy now.

Search for Shiny Chaining Pokemon on google. Takes alot of patience and time, but you can chain a majority of wild pokemon to find shinies.

Pokemon and Metroid. DevilBorg
Games that have a great multiplayer component and player base. DevilBorg gave examples, although Metroid has few players left now, and it is difficult to find games without hackers. The FF games did not seem to last me too long (only games ive ever sold from the DS) but I still play games like Mario Party and Zelda multiplayer. Depends on what you like to do in your games

Like most RPGs, depending on your game style, some will run much longer than others. If you like just completing the story, then you may miss 75% of the game hours depending on the game. If you like gunning through the story, then go for games with the fewest sidequests to get the most out of them. If you enjoy tearing apart a game from every possible aspect, then do the ones with the most sidequests. Honestly, if you try beating Pokemon without cheating, its easy and fast, but then try getting ALL the contests, achievements, card upgrades, pokedex, etc, and your talking hundreds of hours, assuming you did not cheat or trade with a cheater.
