To be fair, the more recent KillZone game, Killzone: Liberation for PSP got an 8.3 on Gamespot, but I doubt that even if KZ2 exceeds all expectations it will cause trouble for the XBOX360.

As for the TC, the fact is that cows had been saying the same things about Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Lair, Heavenly Sword, ext. All the games you listed have the potential to flop, like all other games.

They only flopped here. They are great games, well-worth waiting for. If people really ignore the world outside of Gamespot, that's just sad.

I have played all the games that I have listed and they are all, Lair being the exception, good games. I assumed that since this was System Wars in the GameSpot forums, GameSpot reviews would be the ones given weight.

well liberation was a different game....KZ2 is a sequel to original KZ

Very true, however considering that Liberation was made by the same people who made the original KillZone, and was created later, it's quite possible thatmany of theissues that made KZ a bad game have been resolved. Since it's not out however, we'll have to wait and see whether it will be more like Liberation or the original KillZone
