What is a Lord of Power
A Lord Of Power is a klassfication of reality mage that's no longer used in current space time within existence. At one time they were an aloof klass of mages that sided with their respective guilds under the old noble houses to wage conflict upon the designated opponent.
They are beings that can distort and remake the reality around him, threw their whims changes are made to the world around them. Most would focus on specifics directly dealing with whatever the issue at hand is, while others would change everything around them to suit their needs. Either way that direct use of power allowed their sub conscious access to that ability slowly warping their character until they simply ceased to exist.
In current time the reputation of or more correctly the stigma of a "Lord of Power" or "Power Lord" is an ego maniac who's unable to control his own power and that power so subtle and absolute is feared and loathed.
It has a negative condentation on it like crusaders or gangsters only without any of the cool or positive imaginary. You must understand that sentient culture has evolved and conglomerated into a universal society simple things as criminal, demonic, bestial and even fou endearing terms for real corruption are all parts of various levels of society and treated as cogs in the system some get removed, displaced or oiled as long as the system remains active and responsive to the needs of societies hierarchy this is true for both LF as it is DF as it is with the rest of existence.
The only real thing that strikes fear or dis-concern in the hearts of DF and LF alike is chaos as both sides have tasted its lust filled fornicating nature they know its un ending self destruction that returns them to linger in the beginning until its fended off or completely destroys them.
In a sense a Lord of Power is contained and limited chaos they bend many rules but eventually them and the surrounding region of space time will collapse the damage tends to be limited as they are driven off to their little worlds by the dark recesses of their minds.
The one who's cursed with this stigma is a slightly inverted human who's not sure of himself or where he is going, slowly he is stigmatized by light force society even as grand and glorious as it is in forgiving many things and quickly dealing with others social snobbery has become an art. He is labeled a "Lord of Power"due to the processing all initiant's go through because his abilities are klassfied as wide range reality warping, even before he landed on the LF home worlds they knew of his existence and via committee decided to allow him entry. Officially he is klassfied as a "savant" or one who manifests many skills but as time lingers on the truth spreads gossiping builds creating a uncomfortable environment to live in much less work and play.
Unlike those who were previously entitled "Lord of power " He is doing something different he's not using his power to directly affect things which has stopped him from regressing even though his mind is cracked and he struggles with the shadows of the heart he remains steadfast in not giving in and abusing his powers to the fullest.
This brings us to the weapons they are the focal point of his powers he's able to imbue them enough power to deal with most tasks. He also can through the use of other skills use power based abilities but he's not that good at using them like a absent minded mage casting a flame spell it will either fizzle out rebound and toast him or work or work to the tenth power IE a fire ball becomes a mini nuke. The weapons become a way to maximize both power and control at once.
