depends which 1 has a better dsp (digital signal processor) as the bit rates r equal but im guessing psp should have excellent sound quality as it is from sony and 1 more thing remeber the old ps the original 1 sph 1001 i think , that 1 is rumored to be an excellent cd player and can match the performance of a very expensive ones (correct me if i am wrong)
