I've played both eternal sonata and heavy rain,
I just wanted to see other peoples opinions of them,
Personally, I love eternal sonata though I think the cut scenes drag on every now and then, For heavy rain, I agree it's touching it almost brought me to tears during my first playthrough, and dead island, well I haven't played this yet :3

Borderlands is good. and Borderlands 2 comes out in september, get psyched!
