It's the superior controller for SNES games at least. Especially since many of these don't well well at all on the GCN controller (eg Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country).ThePlothole

This ^ It's incredibly hard to sprint and jump in Super Mario World >

I'd rather just play real music with real instruments, so no.

I think that you have no idea what you are talking about...

first off....if you sit close to your display...than the difference is huge.

second....every modern PC game is native 1080p capable, no exceptions...

third...the developers of Crysis have said that its not possible on a console.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVsT4D2_VTI&mode=related&search=

as for farcry 2, what the developers said about the game compared to crysis is irrellivent, as screenshots are out, and its clear that Farcry 2 looks nowhere near as good as Crysis.

So then why did sheep cry like babies when LoZ TP got an 8.8?

How come sheep say "they can play ____# of the best rated games of all time"?

How come last gen "Sales didn't matter", but this gen, everything is about install bases and appealing to everyone?

Do you honestly think sheep would say it doesn't mean crap if SSBB got a 7.0-8.5? I mean for bloody sakes, they condemned Jeff Gerstmann for giving it a 4/5.

Funny thing about reviews, is that they're 99% opinion.

I own all 4 so heres my take:

Storyline-

  1. Majoras Mask-a very interesting plot
  2. Twilight Princess-a long story but as interesting as Majoras Mask
  3. Ocarina of Time-the first Legend of Zelda that really put it out there so not as good a story line
  4. Wind Waker-the story line was a drop from all the others

Action-

  1. Ocarina of Time-enough fighting but not too much that you get annoyed about
  2. Twilight Princess-a little too much fighting for me but only a little
  3. Majoras Mask-not too much but the storyline made it that way so its alright...lots of running
  4. Wind Waker-not enough and too much sailing

Puzzle Solving-

  1. Ocarina of Time-pretty much all dungeons so lots of it
  2. Majoras Mask-the storyline of it was basically set up to do this but not enough dungeons to fulfill
  3. Wind Waker-the changing winds is what im talking about here and there was enough
  4. Twilight Princess-in dungeons you just ran around

Length-

  1. Twilight Princess
  2. Ocarina of Time
  3. Wind Waker
  4. Majoras Mask

Side Stories-

  1. Wind Waker-lots of little things you could do such as help people out or little games
  2. Majoras Mask-also could help people out but not as much as in Wind Waker
  3. Ocarina of Time-more little things than Twilight Princess
  4. Twilight Princess-three games that stood out that you could do...no side quests whatsoever

Graphics-

  1. Twilight Princess-very nice artistry
  2. Majoras Mask-nice graphics for N64 a little better than Ocarina of Time
  3. Ocarina of Time-not much worse than Majoras Mask
  4. Wind Waker-never appealed to the cell-shading type of graphics but appealing to some people

Impact To Me-

  1. Ocarina of Time-really was amazing for me, best game RPG game iv ever played, maybe the best game ever
  2. Majoras Mask-really was a different take on Legend on Zelda than any other one made yet
  3. Twilight Princess-fun gameand took another approach to Legend of Zelda because of its animal changing/other realm
  4. Wind Waker-after Majoras Mask and Ocarina of Time i thought this would be great especially on gamecube.I was wrong

Overall-

  1. Ocarina of Time
  2. Majoras Mask
  3. Twilight Princess
  4. Wind Waker

All of those titles, in my opinion at least, have a superb plot. They are all very different in their own ways, which is why it's hard to compare them. I liked how you really showed the strenghts of the games, especially Majora's Mask and the comment of it's mysterious storyline, because that's exactly what Nintendo wanted.

However, the new "realms" thing comment about TP, *points at Link to the Pastz*

No. I bought the Wii for exclusives that cannot be found on the other two. Really, only 3-4 games have made a big impact on me from the other consoles, where as many have made an impact on me that have been released on the Wii.

Just today, PES 2008 surprised me, its such an innovative and smart way of playing a sports title.

Yea I was dispointed in the fact that Link was a badass, there were side quests that weren't thrown directly in your face like WW, and the simple fact that you can do a backflip off Epona.

Erm, kay.

You guys aren't seeing the big picture. He's not downplaying Wii because of the controller, that's just the front. He's downplaying Wii because if Wii becomes the sensation that it's becoming, developers will in theory devote more and more of their resources to Wii development.

In the big picture, the more developers are making Wii games, the less they're making 360/PS3/PC games, which in turn means they're NOT using UE3. So the more popular Wii gets, the less money Epic recieves from licensing out UE3.
