@undefined: you're on the right track for a comparative system, minus optimization potential. However, most people that play console still watch blurays and would want to use a controller for action, sports, racing etc. I would definitely be including the price of a mouse/keyboard and controller of choice to be fair. I'll give you pass on the bluray unless you mean to use this on your tv, then you should add it in. This would likely jump your price to over $750. In Canada, (where I am from) that same pc would likely be over $1100, whereas the Xbox one x is only $600, which is why the Xbox one x makes much more sense. Nevertheless, interesting read.
