Thanks for the help guys. The reason I'm interested in the 4870 for my old PC is that I already have one in my current computer.

I was considering crossfiring them when the old system isn't being used. How complicated a process is that and is it something that can be done on the fly? ie, play a bit of lan between the two systems, finish, take the 4870 out, put it in the current system, hey presto and vice versa.

Again, appreciate your help.

Well like i said i'm only looking to play Battlefield 2142 on high, if i can do that i will be happy for a good while. In the future i will be looking towards buying a new pc but at the moment i just don't have the money. I'm from the UK and i've searched high and low to find a PC at 200 pounds (roughly $400) and it just doesn't seem possible. Any ideas?

Hello, I have decided to update my now deemed useless computer by adding a graphics card and some RAM. The video card is AGP so i know i will not be able to play the best of games. I was hoping to be able to play Battlefield 2142 on high and i would be happy with that. The thing is i don't know what AGP video cards and what RAM are compatible with my computer. How do i find this out? Thanks guys.

I feel shamed to post this, but here it goes..

Thanks alot. I'll start looking into it now. Also I occasionaly get the blue screen of death, Will changing the video card possibly fix that or will it still be the same as ever. I figured it was from the drivers on the radeon 9200 but like i said, i don't know too much.
