Well I know a bunch of folks hate on Gamestop, but have to say they take great care of me. Today I got one of the new 360 S consoles with some great trade in promos. Here's the break down:

360 refurb console with wireless beat controller, one extra decent controller,unused standard AV cable, power brick. This was my 2nd replacement for launch console. 20 gig HD that came with original 360. $155.00 dollars credit more than I could ever hope for. one PSP 1000 Japanese with non working memory slot {you might remember my ordeal with Sony on this } The guy at GS was so cool about it they don't except imports but her over rode it for $35 with $25 bonus = $60. Then My launch PSP 1001 $35 with $25 bonus = 60.

so $155+$60+$60 =$275 new 360 = $300 my total was $27.43 I have to say I love Gamestop again.

The reason I was able to part with my good PSP was I have a slim PSP and the broken one LOL. Like I said more than I could have hoped for on this stuff. The great part is I did the same thing a few months ago on the PS3 traded my 20 gig fat launch which could have died at any moment for $150. Gamestop has taken care of me a lot. Few games I bought online and Ebay that were unplayable or defective I brought them to my local guy who is great at GS and replaced them with working copies no questions asked even though I did not buy them there.

So anyway Yeah Gamestop is ok with me.

Ok on to new shiny my precious sexy new Xbox. This thing is sweet! So quiet, does not get that hot really. I was scared after reading exaggerated reports of heating. Not too bad at all. Looks pretty, great having the 250 gig HD I will be doing installs now which is great, I had two 20 gig 360's for the longest time. I should post some pics if GS lets me grr. So Now I'm going to play some games:)

Got a great deal on this puppy because Sony has new models out again, its a great set with amazing features. I got a free Blu Ray player with it even though I don't need it. Great price too at local shop around here. I'm happy to finally have an LCD high quality set. It's coming Friday, then the old Tube HDTV goes to my mom at her place! I can't wait to play in full 1080P ! This set has amazing features really. I am hyped ! I mean my 34XBR tube was nice, but I play my first xbox now on my LCD PC monitor and see a huge difference between that and the tube detail wise. I can only imagine how this is going to look!

Any one have any good TV stories to share? BTW I paid about 1500, with 4 year extended warranty well worth considering this is Sony. Plus I see the Blu Ray player is worth about 130 $ on the cheap side at Amazon so if I wanted I could sell it for 100 easily. But I think I will keep it and just use the PS3 for gaming only.

Been forever since I did a GS blog, so its time.

Been a great few months for gaming, I'm moving to a new APT in the next weeks finally! I'm excited about it I will be sure to post pics when I get everything setup. Crazy gaming time as usual, I'm playing a ton of great stuff. Finally finished Fallout 3! Batman AA was a great time too. Now on to all the great games I have gotten recently. First up NBA 2K10, what a huge disappointment this game is, the AI is terrible in that it is too good on the high levels and too weak on the lower levels its all or nothing, that plus the ratings for player are way way off. They did a terrible call it in job this year. Something I thought 2K was better than EA at, NOT! Oh well won't be rushing out to buy sports games anymore, because they really have not done anything with any of them from any of the makers. Its gone backwards if anything.

Next Uncharted 2, Great fun game with great multiplayer, sadly of which I have not partaken as of late, definitely the best PS3 game I have bought in recent history, waiting on my GOD OF WAR collection at this very time. Anyway UC2 has amazing Graphics, and fun game-play that's always keeping you popping. I still found it to be more of the same, which in this case is good. It really has the best movie like qualities without making you feel like your watching too much ( hheeh hmmm Metal Gear anyone?). Great game with long lasting multiplayer, which I promise guys I will join you in soon, been very hectic lately.

Then more recently I have been playing Dragon Age 36o which is great and I think looks fine, Almost done with it, great game IMO. So many fun things to do and see. If you like these types of games any version of this one will do, I would have bought the PC version but my PC is only single core, shame on me I know. Then the games started Landsliding the last few weeks wow, I got some awesome deals at Amazon over the last few months, and Game Crazy. I bought Metroid Trilogy for $24.99 wow, and Fight Night round 4 $19.99. Last few days I got Modern Warfare 2 $30 at Best Buy when I bought AC2 for full price. Plus all the promotional credits at amazon netted great deals on New Super Mario playing as I type this, and soon to be had GOW collection.

Last but not least, had a 10 dollar credit from Mario which arrived today! I ended up using for get this :::: WII FIT ! That's right I did it I went for it. LOL Got for 79.99 with free shipping from Amazon not bad. I should have it the same days as GOW collection late next week .

WHEW busy gaming time and other things, getting ready for my big move. have to get to doing more writing too! hope you enjoyed seeing me back ! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. (USA FOLKS ! )

I wanted to add I have been playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online Beta on my PC and I have to say its great !!! Love PC GOLF they really have come a long way in TWG online. It plays through the browser and is just too much fun.

So as you know, I bought some new Wii games. Yes amazingly they are all good. Without a spec of HD LOL. I really really like Deadly Creatures, I do wonder how good it might have looked at 1080P hell even 720. Even with those thoughts at the back of my mind, I still totally enjoy the creepiness of Being a Tarantula, or Scorpion. The Music is very well done. There is something very calming about the game that I can't really explain. It might be the exploration, with the music. House Of The Dead Overkill is great mindless fun. After playing these games and going back to a few older games. I'm again seeing how well the Wii is designed. the interface is elegant, some of the games really do have a creative shine that only Nintendo can off. Yes I love my Wii, maybe not as much as my 360 but still LOL.

Where the hell are my PS3 games? :evil: Oh yeah they are coming from a land far far:cry: away. I hope its worth the wait, these two PS3 games offer something different I can't get on 360 or Wii or PC. Demon's Souls looks great! Hakuna Matata, looks really cool, just very different from the usual.

I thought it was about time to have a new blog post, so why not this? I bought some great games this weekend it had been a few weeks without buying any LOL. Plus I had not bought a Wii game in months. First Off I bought :

1. Demon's Souls PS 3 Asian import (Tasty!)
2. Hakuna Matata (Afrika ) Asian Import Very cool should have these in a week or two.

Then I finally Bolstered My Wii Game collection with the Target Deal Buy 2 get one free matched at Best Buy because of course Target had a crap selection. with these 3 bueaties !:

1. Deadly Creatures
2. House Of The Dead Overkill
3. Madworld

So tonight Sunday night Wii gaming night ahead. I'm happy about the unique PS3 games I got also.

After spending some time with the 3 Wii games WOW, talk about 3 cool different games, Mad World is a little bit freaky, Gore fighting in B&W with swearing. Some of the moves are cool, it just kind of freaks me out after a few minutes. Not sure how feel about yet. Deadly Creatures, weird, interesting, kinda fun. HOD OK is just funny silly stuff, with a mouth like sewer. Nice way to bring my dead Wii back to life.

Last month I was going to move to a friends house, but for a few personal reasons I did not go. I think now I will wait until spring if I can, I know I have to move no matter what. My house with my mom is in forclosing. I think we have a few months left here at least. It was cheaper to stay here for now. I want to Thank Aspro 73 for buying some of my N64 games a good deal of them in fact, you have allowed me to have a nice holiday Season THANKS MAN.

With some of that money Today I bought 7 games, Circuit City has some great deals running this week, on all the hot new games coming over the next month here is what I bought. Saints Row 2 360, Dead Space 360 this week both had 10 dollar gift cards ! Which I was able to use instantly online getting both games for 49.99 + tax and ship. Then I saw a deal on Little Big planet, and Fable 2 both Had 15 dollar gift cards so I got them for 44.99 each + tax and ship. Then I ordered 3 more games Resistance FOM 2, Fallout 3 360, and last but not least GEARS of War 2 all with $10 GC so each at 49.99 +tax and shipping. Grand total $370.63 if I had bought them Retail here it would have cost $462 I saved almost $100 and bought almost every game I want the whole holiday season. GREAT DEAL. I got this deal through pre ordering and keeping my eyes open for deals. So if anyone asks you why you pre order, here's a damn fine example of why. I know I would have bought these games eventually, and paid more. So I went for for it, I'm not fond of Circuit City, because they pull crap, but I thought it was worth a try. I hope they don't screw it up.

I added one more game to the gaming carnage today, I had to buy NBA 2K9. What a week LOL. It's an amazing game! When I go on a frenzied game buying spree I go allout. I decided wtf? I had a Dr appointment, where I found out I have 2 herniated discs in my back, I'm going for an MRI tomorrow and next week I will know if I need surgery. So I figure I might as well get games I want while I can.

Well I finished another of last years highly touted games. I garnered 660 Achievement points, found all the secret ones. The only ones I didn't get for the most part were the flag collection points. A boring and useless for the most part way to extend the hours of gameplay without adding anything. You know its funny, when I first got the game on it's release, I could never really get into it. I decided about 4 days ago I was going to try again.

This time I got into to it deep. At it's core AC is a hack and slash type game with some amazing sword fights,platforming, good stealth killing, and some interesting plot points that have some meaning pertaining to today's world. The game grows on you if you give it a chance. Some of the animation of the characters is amazing, the faces look very real and the characters say many different things. You would be hard pressed to say that the characters did or said much the same way, the main ones that is. Some of the city dwellers are very similar. The cities and area's are all extremely detailed if not a bit on the dark gray and brown side. This really sets the tone well as it is in the desert mostly, in a very dark time in our history. I felt this game portrayed the time period very well. I loved climbing the high points and getting the Eagle Vision, there was something extremely satisfying about it.

I really enjoyed this game once I got into it, I had to see it through to the end. I hope they do a sequel. As I find myself wanting more. I have to say this was one of last years most enjoyable games once I gave it a chance. If any of you like me put the game down after a few hours of play, I urge you pick it up again. Give it a chance, I think you won't regret it.

All in All this was one of the top games I have finished lately along with Uncharted.
