I think Nintendo should be paying consumers for its lame joke of an online service. Lines of friend code, no communication whatsoever, and lack of any kind of profile make the Wii's online service completely laughable. Xbox Live is a great service that is well worth the price of admission, however, in terms of free, the PS3's PlayStation Network is pretty admirable as well. Nintendo could easily better themselves with improved online functionality without charging consumers. It wouldnt change the fact that 90% of the games are garbage on the Wii, so to think it would have a large online community would also be a bit laughable.TheXboxgamer73

This was a really really simple question and there was no need to turn it into a bashing spree. We all know that Nintendo has a pretty bad Online "service" but the TC was asking "would you pay for a better service?" like Xbox Live.

All in all i don't think Nintendo should have to charge people for a improved online service.. The PS3 doesnt have friend codes, and you can also communicate over a mic and system messages, and it's also free.

i dont honestly have a problem playing any games and showing them to my Parents.. i watch mature rated movies and TV shows with both of them all the time, so i ask them to please treat my games with the same kind of understanding. So far they haven't been bothered by it because they can't argue with the fact that the stuff they watch on TV and see in Movies is just as mature and adult orientated as in my games.

they only people i dont feel comfortable with it is my Grandparents.. who i recently managed to get them to play Wii bowling, they loved it.

this is exactly why i don't pay for game mags.. all of them are composed of incompetent journalists and even Nintendo Power (read: ESPECIALLY NINTENDO POWER) is guilty of making themselves sound like complete jokers.

even with all the stuff that's happened to gamepot recently i still trust them more then anyone of those magazines, and that's good because gamespots reviews and previews are free.

Wow... Really?

We better get used to saying "Oh my science" now. It will take time to get used to but its apparently what we should have been saying since we could express extreme shock, Right?

I personally agree that with a positive score on the cover (doesnt really matter what Magazine its from) really could pull more people into buying the game.. it's been working for other games since people started reviewing games, why not for this one?

By the way.. It certainly wont stop me from buying it when i eventually see it in stores either.

"The artwork is broken"

Man you're a character. Coming from a guy who gives Rayman a 9.8?

Wintry_Flutist

The guy with a Dreamcast logo is actually commenting on someone else's tastes?

Yes the paper filter is almost gone. The other version looks faded and rough like it's actually playing on the paper. It's art.

The Wii version is sharp and crisp. What you don't get when you put watercolor on paper. It still bleeds but it's more of just a "game" now.

You're going to lose the little respect you get.

The greatest mismanaged console in the modern age?

How does this prevent him from liking the console? You go from "tastes" to "management", frankly, who's going to take you seriously.

I've never liked Jaysonguy.. and this whole conversation, plus him actually supporting Nintendo power and what he said about Okami explains why.

Nitpicking.. nothing but needless nitpicking.

My perfect game would be Oblivion X 100. It would have near infinite amount of gameplay that would give you enough to do for many many years. The game I have envisioned couldn't possibly be done for at least another generation or two. If I had that game, I'd never need to play another game ever again. That's my perfect game, and it'll never happen.ozzsoad

That sounds an Awful lot like World of Warcraft.
