I would prefer it if they made a fighting game with the action heroes from the 80's. Could have 3 variants for each character eg: Arnold Schwarzenegger (Dutch, Terminator, Conan). The best part would be the fatalities with all the possible punchlines.

If they werent blaming video games, they would also ask people to bring their guns and stored alcohol to be destroyed. There is absolutely no arguments or reasoning that could support why they are targeting video games, and not guns and alcohol, without them blaming video game violence for the murders.
I hope that gamers volunteer and get a few free games out of this, someone has to benefit from this stupidity.

Ummm the definition of desensitization is to make someone less responsive to an overwhelming fear by repeated exposure to the situation or object. So basically they are saying that video games is proven to increase fear and decrease your fear of violence at the same time. Awesome logic you spuds.

This is ridiculous, why do people keep using video games, movies, tv shows, etc to try and explain why someone has done something like go on a killing spree. When will people realise that it is impossible to predict how people will react based on what they have done or experienced. You cant predict that someone is going to be a killer based on what tv shows or video games he/she watched when they were young, because there will be 1000's of other kids who have experienced the same lifestyle and have turned out completely different. The reason we cant predict human behaviour is because we are human, humans are the most complicated species on the planet.
If we could predict human behaviour, that would actually be dehumanizing.
Theres obviously a reason why that person went on a murderous rampage, but whatever he went through that led to him doing this, I have no doubt that there are millions of people who have experienced 10 times worse and not harmed a soul. This means that you cant blame someones behaviour on something else, everyone has different reactions. You can only blame the person for their behaviour.
So wait, we cant have female characters portrayed as "good looking" because it is offensive to women. Give me a break, pretty much every male character is portrayed as "good looking". You dont see a game where the main character is a male fat slob, its not offensive to men even if it doesnt portray a realistic depiction of males. Also if you went to any night clubs you will find that the girls their are almost an exact copy of the female characters portrayed in video games. So really games dont really portray females wrong, they are just portraying the side that women dont want to see. Also you do realise that humanity in general are becoming more open about sex and therefore act more sexually, its only going to get worse and the games are going to follow suit.
I dont have a problem with homosexuals, what I do have a problem is people waving their arms at the sight of it and making a big deal over nothing. Its fine if your gay or straight, just dont make a big deal about it. Same with games, you can have it, but dont advertise it as a game changing component to games, it isnt.
I don't know about you guys, but I have seen spelling errors in almost every review I have read from gamespot. The praise and high score for the game should have given it away but are we really in a world where people assume if you cant spell and write full sentences, that you are not some common gamer and instead work for a gaming company? This logic baffles me.
