I didn't even realize that the PS3 owners who waited a year or so after we got Bioshock were getting DLC until I stumbled upon a preview of it.  I don't see how this won't make its way to Live eventually.

It seems everywhere I turn there's some controversy surrounding this game. Who would've thought one of Nintendo's nontraditional games would cause such a fuss? I literally just finished reading another article about this whole Wii Music thing when I stumbled upon this transcript. Good find.

Hey Gamespotters!

In case you haven't heard, the UK recently launched the first National Videogame Archive designed to preserve cartridges, box art, advertising, and even the cultural aspects of our beloved gaming (read more here). In addition, they started something called the Save The Videogame initiative where developers have already begun chiming in on what titles merit preserving, and soon you'll be able to do the same! This is a great cause and a great thing for gaming as a whole, so check it out!

I'm so pumped for the demo of this game, I'm always on the lookout for great co-op experiences.

I haven't gotten to finish either one of them yet (damn you, title-rich holiday season!) but it's between Gears 2 and Fallout for me, both absolutely stellar experiences so far.

I'm still waiting on my Guitar Hero World Tour review, although if the news around the country is any indication, they're probably having to send their broken drums back.

So I was StumbleUpon-ing around earlier today and landed on a little gem here that got me thinking about badass gaming costumes. I'm a terrible arts-and-crafts person myself, but surely some of you have worn/are currently wearing some awesome gamer costumes. Let's hear them!

P.S. - WTB 1 Big Daddy costume, Little Sister optional

Absolutely. My experience with the previous Fallouts was limited to some brief time with the PC demos, but that hasn't affected my ability to enjoy the hell out of some Fallout 3. And while the story is separate, it's still a fairly rich world which you might want to investigate a bit (i.e. here). Other than that though, get out there and lose yourself in some postapocalyptic hotness.

Haha, epic is the key word, definitely!

The atmosphere cannot be beat. You can definitely get lost in this world almost more so than Oblivion's, particularly when it starts to look familiar to you. I mean, you're walking through towns with street signs and traffic lights. Really well presented.

With Fallout 3 coming tomorrow, basically ending any social life I have, I was curious how many of you out there have any experience with the old PC Fallouts. I played some demos back in the day and loved the setting, but never spent a whole lot of time with the franchise. I guess it's more Bethesda's track record attracting me to the game than franchise loyalty. What about you guys?

Anyways, if any of you are like me and want to know more about the world you're about to be spending an inordinate amount of time in, there's a good write-up of some Fallout history here:
