It should not be illegal to cheat on your spouse. Imposing morality is pointless, morals are just semantics. Outlawing things should be kept in the realm of pure logic, without emotion. Well, as logical as stupid fleshy apes can manage.

Outlawing extramarital affairs also heads towards the direction of not admitting that we're stupid fleshy apes with stupid fleshy ape instincts. It's like condemning teen pregnancy, or saying "Everyone can be a leader." It's not fixing anything, it's just resisting the immovable wall of human stupidity.

If anything, I think marriage should be illegal. That seems to be where all the financial entanglement and woes seems to start anyway. And besides, I thought capitalists were all about self-support. Marriage is for pink commies. Get rid of it.
