The new GOTY discs dont have the map packs for some reason. My friend bought one and he didnt get the map packs too. He paid 800 MS points to get the map packs. I did get the map packs when I got the game, but it was more than a year. My friend got it on thanksgiving day 2008 and yeah as i said, no map packs.

This has been asked at least a 100 times, but non of the solutions work for me. It is the quest in Skingrad where you have to kill the vampires and deal with vampire hunters. So now I am in a position where the vampires are dead and I have to kill the vampire hunters. One of the solutions is so cast frenzy on them, but it doesnt seem to work. My character is lvl 28, so I assume the vampire hunters are +1 level more than I am, and the most level you can get the spell frenzy to affect is level 25. I dont want to get a bounty on killing them and I dont want my infamy to rise. Any Ideas?

I have the expansion pack of Oblivion (Shivering Isles), and it comes with Knights of the Nine, but my question is, are the other dowloadable contents like the wizard tower or the spell tomes and other DLC stuff come with the Shivering Isles or not? Thanks.

Don't you think that it only got a 9 instead of a 9.5 because over the past several months there have been plenty of games that have raised the bar a little higher?, i mean GeoW was what i think the first really true next gen game , i mean, take a look at games like perfect dark zero and imagine what they would have gotten if they got released just a month after GeoW.

Good games create higher expectations, and the fact that it got a solid 9 means that its improved, it doesnt have to get a higher grade than the previous installment to do so, thanks to this bunch of 9s im starting to get my hopes back on gamespot as an unbiased site, i mean, they were in the LBP hype, they might aswell have given it a 9.5!, but they opted not to.

Atleast with the 9 you know that it got more than a few twicks here and there, and that its a true sequel instead of an expansion just to cash some money, so give it a break, if you don't like the review, go read the official xbox magazine which is more likely to give a solid 10 to those precious xbox 360 exclusives they've hyped all year.

BlocChaser

Xbox official magazine gave it a 9.0 too, so read before you write.

[QUOTE="_JPH_"]I am not liking Gamespot's scoring system every each passing day. I mean Last year COD 4 should at least have a 9.5, but got a 9.0. Now GoW 2 got 9.0 too. I know some of you might say this is an opinion and everyone has his own opinion, but still many good games are getting lower scores that they should.specialed

Have you played the game yet?

If not, how can you logically complain about something like the score when you dont know how the game is?

Yes I have played the final version ( only the first level though, and please dont ask how ), and it deserves a 9.5. Although gameplay is almost the same, there are new stuff like weapons and grabbing the locust, stuff that are in the trailers.

Plus I have played the multiplayer at PAX.

This is the first multiplatform game that has been released on the same day on both 360 and PS3 and have different scores.

The PlayStation 3 version is shockingly inferior to the others from a technical perspective. Although the Xbox 360 and PC versions display the occasional visual oddity and bland texture, these nitpicks are easy to overlook. Sadly, the jagged edges, washed-out lighting, and slightly diminished draw distance of the PS3 release aren't so easy to dismiss. We also experienced a number of visual bugs on the PS3. Character faces disappeared several times, leaving only eyeballs and hair; limbs on robots went missing; some character models had an odd outline around them as if they were cel-shaded; and the day-to-night transition may cause odd streaks on the screen as you move the camera around. This version doesn't even offer trophies, whereas the Xbox 360 and PC versions offer Xbox Live/Windows Live achievements.

Does this mean that the programmers couldn't do much on the PS3, or because the 360 is TRULY the superior console?
