[QUOTE="ronman123"]What I have seen is that Bill Gates is like a Government Control freak, Im not supporting him anymore especially the part where the mandatory cameras in the X-Box 720 and it auto turns on when you play any game.... and some games are mandatory to play online and if you turn off the camera or put tape over it, it auto shuts down and hacker stuff. Bill Gates was never a genuine "Gamer" but yet he declares himself the king and lord of all gamers and gaming devices. Yuck.

You're an idiot. Bill Gates isn't even the CEO of Microsoft anymore.

Right now I am just playing the waiting game. We have already seen what Sony has in store for their new console, and honestly I wasn't all that impressed with a lot of it. The specs were pretty nice, but are similar to about a mid to decent high range PC. Of course there were some other things I liked about the Sony press conference (the announcement of new games), but there were some things that I felt were completely awful as well, like the whole "Share" button on the new controller and how they want you to always be "connected" to your friends and all this crap. Also, I think the streaming of PS3 games is going to be awful. The technology just doesn't exist yet to be able to fluidly stream games of high graphical fidelity without suffering from some input lag. Furthermore, there's the whole connection thing to worry about. A lot of cable companies have a bandwidth restriction that would make streaming PS3 games a nightmare. The social thing did bother me a lot at first, admittedly, but there are still more than enough awesome games out and honestly I'll never have enough time to play all of them. That's just the way consoles in general are going. It's not just Microsoft, but Sony and Nintendo are doing basically the same things as well. They all want to "dominate the living room". Anyway, as far as Kinect goes, since it's supposedly going to come packaged with every Xbox 720, hopefully that will tempt more developers to give it a chance so we can get some good gaming out of it. It would be stupid for Microsoft to drop Kinect like Sony pretty much abandoned the Move, especially considering how Microsoft has spent billions of dollars on advertising alone.

For one, I would not like it to block used games. And so far that's what all the rumors are aiming at. That would be so ridiculous if MS pulled some BS like that. I expect it to be more entertainment based this time around, which I don't like either. I want them to focus on gaming instead of movies, music, and all that social networking bullcrap. I know you said don't think about the rumors, but so far everything that has been said about Durango has been disappointing.

There were LOTS of disappointing things said about the PS4 before it was unveiled, one of them being that it wouldn't be able to play used games, either. This proved to be not true. Also, if the Share button on the new PS4 controller isn't an indication that it's also moving more towards "social networking bullcrap," then I don't know what is.

I expect to see Live account integration like we see already with 360, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. Hopefully this means we will be able to download our profiles from the 360 over to our new consoles. Imagine how great it would be if you could download every XBLA game already on the 360 on your new console at launch. That, in my opinion, would be a huge selling point for a new console. It doesn't even have to be backwards compatible with retail 360 games, and I really hope they don't go the Sony route and make backwards compatibility an option through streaming. That just seems like a slow, stuttery disaster waiting to happen. But yeah, I pretty much want what everyone else wants. New IPs, more exclusive games, and stronger hardware at launch.

You might not want to sell "your" Xbox 360, because your dad will probably get mad at you for selling his stuff. Also, why do topics like this even exist? Are you so indecisive that you can't make up your mind about something so amazingly simple that you need advice from complete strangers on the internet? Considering how the vast majority of the best games on any console are multiplatform, how much you like a console ultimately comes down to how much more you enjoy one controller over the other, and the 360 controller is just about perfect for me, personally...You can say you are bored with Xbox 360 exclusives, but I could just as easily say I am bored with PlayStaion 3 exclusives. If that happens, just go with that fat Mountain Dew and Cheesy Poof infested gut of yours. Cool?
