Whoops, i actually wasnt done!

Sorry about that, but i accidentally pressed enter or something, and it posted the last blog before i was finished it... as i was saying, Mount and Blade is a brilliant game, and with the addition of mods, it becomes a class of its own...

My advice to anyone who owns a PC, even if its not a great PC, cause mount and blade will run on pretty much anything (my friend will give testomony to that... his computer wont run ANYTHING... but itll run Mount and Blade), yeah anyway... my advice is to TRY OUT THE DEMO:

Link to the Demo: http://au.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/mountandblade/download_6198026.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=files&tag=files;title;3

link to Mod Site: http://www.mbrepository.com/modules/PDdownloads/(just so you can check out the massive amounts of mod for yourself)

One of the best, little known, underated, PC games

Gamespot only gave it 6/10, so i guess most people would look once at it and say... nah, that game cant be any good... but for anyone who looks under the surface, they would see that from 2000 player votes, the game got an average of 8.8, thats pretty good!

What make this game so good???

Mount and Blade has brilliant combat... both on foot, and mounted... yes that right, it had great mounted combat, something which most games lack (Oblivion for example), also, it allows you to raise an army, and then go into battle against other armies... so in a way, it could be compared to medieval 2 total war, except that you are actually in amongst the fighting, which is great fun.

Another great thing about this game, are the mods... there are HEAPS and HEAPS of mods, and some of them are brilliant. one of the most popular mods is the Lord of the Rings mod, titled 'The Last Days'. it enhances the game in many ways, and of course, changes the map to one of middle earth, and the armies and units to elves and orcs, and of course all the other middle earth armies! another mod (given away by that picture above) is the Star Wars mod, titled 'Star Wars Calradia', which, though it isnt as good as the LOTR mod, it does put you up in space, give you access to heaps of lightsabers, blasters, grenades, and of course, includes the rebel alliance and the empire, and, surprisingly enough, a Hut faction! My personal favourite mod though, is the 'Sword of Damocles - Invasion' mod, which puts you in the shoes of a king, and lets you do pretty much whatever you want with your faction... recruit new generals, assign feifs, attack factions, make peace, and of course (hence the name Invasion) after a certain amount of time, the land will be invaded by imperial forces (and yes, they are Roman, so look out). It also lets you choose a new, unique faction, with its own units.

Well I Gotta Start Somewhere

I've finally decided to do my first blog entry...

Im sitting around with nothin to do. Normally i would be playing football (soccer), but there's been terrible weather lately. Somehow, everywhere around where i lived managed to get totally flooded, with heaps of houses goin underwater and cars absolutely dying, but my area didnt really get much at all... still, my game was cancelled, leaving me with nothing to do... so i decided to do this.

Well, it isnt exactly true that i have nothin to do... theres lots of homework, in particular Maths C, which seems to just sit in fron tof me without gettin done, oh well, i'll get to it sometime.

Anyways, ive just thouhgt about something else to write about, but i think i'll do it in a new entry, cause its pretty off topic.
