I want to see better use of the knife. Its always been kinda weak. The chaacter shoud be able to do some kinda move where they can sneak up behind a zombie and slice there throats. AND if a zombie gets to close i dont wanna see the character slash at the zombie, i want to see the chraracter actually make a stabbing motion towards the zombies face...or maybe stomach...NO SLAHSING. STAB. How cool would it have been it watch leon take his knife and stab a zombie in the eye if they got to close.Space_Cowboy7
I agree, the knife has always been too weak. That sounds like a good idea...more context sensitive knife attacks. Course, if it were a zombie, you couldn't slit it's throat, you'd have to stab it thru the skull into the brain, lol. It'd be a good way of dispatching Ganados though.
A friend of mine had the idea that there should be "upgraded" melee weapons available for purchase. Like you could go to the merchant (from RE4) and he could either sell you a better melee weapon (a bigger knife/dagger perhaps? brass knuckles?) or he could tune it up like he does the guns (make it sharper? perhaps a handle guard?)
Ok, Resident evil has always been one of my favorite franchises and RE4 further cemented that passion. It's one of my favorite games EVER. However there are several gameplay features and mechanics that I'd like to see in RE5. I could probably make a huge list here, but I'll just mention my #1 wish for RE5.
I would really like to see a "quick-change" weapon system implemented instead of the age-old pause-to-menu-and-then-choose your weapon system that RE has used since the very first game. It interrupts the gameplay and pulls you out of the visceral experience that RE (and RE4 in particular) is known for. I mean, think of playing Halo but whenever you emptied a magazine on the assult rifle and needed to jump to your shotgun you had to pause the game and make your selection. It really slows down the action and pulls you out of the nail-biting experience. Even Metal Gear Solid's system of holding a button for the weapons menu to open is better than RE's system. Don't get me wrong, i love the new inventory system for RE4, it's a huge improvement over the earlier games, but I really wish there was a "shortcut" button to weapon changing where you didn't have to pull yourself out of the action just to switch your weapon.
My question is, what do other RE fans/gamers want to see in the upcoming entires to the franchise?
as of now they all have been built exactly the same. but when the new falcon units hit the markket the issues should be resolvedktrotter11
what are the "falcon" units?
nope there are no games that are on mulitple discs on the 360RicanNerd189
that's what i thought...so disc capacity is so far a moot point...thanks for the clarification...
The failure rate of the PS3 is very low. The PS3 is one well built system. The PS3 also has Blu-Ray so you would be set with a Blu-Ray player for the next generation of movies. If you don't have a HDTV you defeantly are set when you buy one.

What about the Bluetooth controller disconnects I heard about right after the PS3 launched? Has this problem happened to anyone? Has the problem been fixed? I really can't find much information about it anymore...
If you're nervous about getting a 360, wait until the new chips are installed and you'll be fine.76ers
Are the old chips what's causing all the failures?
