I told myself I wasn't gonna deal with day 1 hardware ever again for reasons such as this. I personally have no qualms waiting 3-5 years to pick up an updated model

@129260: except I don't care about any of that, running updates or downloads at night or when I am not home. that is all ..

@gamer12: most definitely. but i find myself just uninstalling the game and keeping the save states in tact

maybe in one of these updates they can put the "Turn Off PS4" as the default selection on that respective screen, vs "enter rest mode" which seems to be what all kids push when they think they're turning the system off.

kinda BS that they are releasing this new system being that the ps4 is relatively new still. does sony plan on giving us ps4 owners some sort of rebate or trade in?????????? wtf probably not.
