FOM...the best and worst game in the world (TM)

This game is like crack...you want to stop playing it but you just keep getting sucked in over and over. FOM is just so incredibly fun it isridiculous. Honestly there is no other MMO that comes close to what FoM is. FoM is incredibly unique and it is the antithesis to all other MMOs. Just think about how people get to the highest levels of WoW by botting or using a guide and otherwise not needing other people.

There is no guide for FOM. In fact even money won't get you to the highest levels. It might help but you could just remain douchey rich r4 that noboby likes. FoM is about working within society and rising above others in the exact same way the real world is. FoM is the closest thing to real world social structure that any game has.

Faction for example are basically like countries. When you are in that faction what the leadership says goes...and your entire game play experience is around that faction. You cannot be factionless because the only way to move through the game is to move within your faction.

This game is not for the faint of heart. Its fans are diehards who aren't the most noob friendly people (although at the beginning of an OB like this is probobly the closest you will get). The learning curve is ridiculously long....I am talking about people will play for a month and still not fully grasp the structure of the game.

There are no definitive guides and the closest we have is that factions put out guides telling their members the basics but the actual intracticies of playing this game is something that one needs to find on their own.
