I just bought a new tv a week ago. I bought the 50 inch samsung DLP 720p/1080i Rear projection TV at Circuit City. Personally I think my TV looks amazing, Especially my 360 and PS3 look amazing on it. My question is, is there really that much of a BIG difference with 1080p that its worth paying $700.00 more?! My TV was $1300.00 and the cheapest 1080p TV they had was $2000.00. Honestly, I think if you put both TVs side by side running the same exact program, I highly doubt you will notice that much of a difference, also considering I hear blu ray movies look amazing running in 1080i also.
