@deathblow3: I think with play anywhere, your best bet is a decent gaming PC and a PS4 pro, that combination makes the scorpio pointless except for 4k bluray. If you really need that, get a scorpio, or get an xbox slim when the price goes down. No point in getting both scorpio and ps4 pro imo, unless you really have no desktop PC, which I guess is possible.

@uk_friday: that's funny. The PS4 is on track to beat the PS2 for popularity, and the PS2 was a phenom.

@rasterror: Same as gtx1060. A console has NEVER come close to matching the X60 of a current gen nvidia card before.

@paul136: As someone without a 4k TV, but wanting the smoother frames and better detail options the Pro will deliver, this is exactly what I want.

The scorpio will be faster, but it will cost more and you will wait probably another year before it releases. So it's a trade off.

@DullBozer: blah blah blah, the TFLOPS are almost tripled in the PS4 pro, that's not a moderate increase. This is next gen, it's just happening a little faster and taking on a new name and progression model, more akin to smartphones than traditional console releases.
