Well, I thinkt thet if there would be real fortune teller, who would managed to get rich using his powers, he would not talk about it :)
I just read "Without Feathers" by Brian Lumley. I was not very impressed by the quality... Also, there was some jarring element, especially for me, as a Pole. Protagonist meets two Germans who admit being former SS soldiers. And he is like "Eh, there were good and bad people in SS, no problem" and they become BFF. Nope, maybe there were good people in the Wehrmacht, but definitely not in SS.
No, but when I was a kid, when playing on my friend's Atari I was manipulating joystick so vigourosly that I brake it :)
My reflex is pathetic, so not very much.
You can take a look at Original War. It is truly, well, original. There is probably no game which would deserve "mix of RTS and RPG" more that this one. Every soldier has name and skill which he develops. You can not train new soldiers. To research technology in the lab, to produce a vehicle, to man a turret - you need a soldier (well, later you can develop AI technologies which make You a bit less dependent on the human resources).
