The platform only has two true exclusives, everything else is on another platform those two being Sunset Overdrive and Forza 5..... This is an embarrassment! MCC is on other systems, Forza Horizon 2 is on 360, Ryse is on PC, Dead Rising 3 is on PC, etc. and you lemmings wonder why your console of choice is flopping? smh

I not sure where you are getting that MCC is on other platforms, that's false. Also, you may wish to consider that the PC platform is essentially running on Microsoft OS/ecosystem, so from their prospective, it still on THEIR platform, and more importantly not directly on a competitor platform. Furthermore, whilst some of the exclusives did eventually(9 months plus), come to PC, that doesn't really matter to those console gamers who got to play their favourite/new IP on day one. I would not agree the console is flopping, it's already well ahead where it's predecessor was when comparing like for like sales. It's only if you compare it to the PS4 that the sales are not as impressive, but then the PS4 has been a runaway success from day one. X1 owners do have Halo 5, ROTTR, Forza 6, Fable Legends to look forward to this year. With Fable Legends with free-to-play and cross-play with PC owners, which I think is a good thing.

The comparison in my view is futile. Completely different games. The Order has a filmic CGI look to it, the developers even went as far as using a letterbox display(1080px800p), but I digress. From a gameplay standpoint it's not fair to compare games from different genres. One would be generally described as a heavily scripted story driven game with 3rd person shooting, and heavy use of QTE's. The enemy count is relatively low, with rudimentary AI. I enjoyed my time with The Order, as an experience I'd put it slightly behind Ryse Son of Rome. You also have the remember Halo 5 will be running at 60fps. The beta was 720px60fps. Halo is a first person shooter renowned for it sandbox gameplay, best in class enemy AI, and many enemy numbers on-screen. Regardless of any type of comparison Halo 5 will not be 1080p, most likely 900px60fps. As for graphics, it will like all the other Halos before look good for what it is.

I've played both games, and visually both look very good. DF articles can provide us with a deeper analysis of the visual make-up of both games. DF has already done so for DC, but strangely still waiting on one FH2. I personally prefer the overall look and presentation of FH2 over DC. The technical improvements from last-gen are clearly evident in both games. After all the hype with DC, I'm impressed with the IQ present here, not quite what Sony/Evolution had been showing off but not far off. I think the dramatic/stylised camera angles during their presentations made it look better than it actually is to play. More over once the weather effects are patched in it will look even more impressive no doubt. So looking forward to that.

However, FH2 impressed me more. Anyone comparing visuals needs to keep in mind FH2 is a true open world racing game, this is by far a more challenging technical accomplichment that designing a circuit based racer. In a circuit racer the designers have full control of the in-game camera and can manage the performance levels more readily. The cars you are controlling are essentially in a invisible tunnel. This is why you are banging up against barriers in DC, this is not the case with FH2. In addition you have non player traffic in certain types of racers, as well as in general across the map when you are in online free-roam and many other modes. All this additional visual elements tax the CPU/GPU even more, so as I said both are very impressive in looks department, but FH2 for me even more so

@slimdogmilionar:

I must commend you for your intelligent and well thought out arguments you've put forward against others on here. Pleas keep up the good work. I'm also interested to see what gaming will look like on these consoles in 2015 and beyond. I think the XB1 has been greatly misunderstood from all angles, and unfortunately that perception of weaker hardware is going to be difficult to address. However, if MS can keep pulling out titles like Forza Horizon 2, which looks absolutely stunning, whilst running in 1080px30fps(locked), and with 4xMSAA, then it may start to lessen the perception of the power deficient in the future.
