I believe the last time I posted a blog I didn't have a 360 so for those of you who read this, there's something new and exciting for you. The only games I actually own are Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Guitar Hero 3. I have beaten all 3 of these games and Bioshock is my favorite. The ambience was executed perfectly and was kept throughout the entire game. The characters were memorable and the story was excellent. The end is something you will not see coming if you haven't played it. Mass Effect was also an excellent game. I wish there were more character customization options, but I guess there needs to be boundaries if this really is going to be a trilogy. I must say that I was thoroughly pissed off when I completed every extra mission I possibly could and I still didn't get the achievement for completing the majority of the game. Thoroughly pissed off. But I did enjoy the game very much and hope the story continues to be just as strong as its start. Guitar Hero 3 has the gayest achievements in the history of Xbox. Lou was not an easy adversary. It took me multiple tries to beat him. Do you know how many achievement points you get for beating him? 15. Yeah. 15 fricking points for beating a very difficult game on expert. Not worth it man. I don't know why I like this game so much. It never ceases to make me mad. I stick to my opinion that the begining of Through the Fire and the Flames is glitched because it is the ONLY part I cant pwn. But enough of that. My ps2 has not been getting as much love as I would like for it to receive. You see, I got a fancy new 37" tv for my fancy new 360, but my daft self doesn't know how to hook up my 360 and ps2 at the same time...or maybe I'm just too lazy to figure it out. Anyways, my ps2 has been confined to the living room. The room in which I cannot enter without seeing my dad sitting there watching some crappy tv show. I never get a chance to play unless he's not home. This really sucks because I was getting into Persona 3 big time but now that has stopped. Speaking of Persona 3, FES is finally coming to America and I couldn't be more thrilled. 30 extra hours of gameplay? That's what I'm talking about. People say, "It's not the length of a game that makes it good." Well duh. That's obvious. But if I'm playing an amazing game like Persona 3, I don't want it to end. The great length of that game is one of its best parts because it allows you to continue playing. Other games have multiplayer, but RPGs have their length that keeps us playing. So because my father's tv viewing has halted my P3 playtime I've been borrowing some 360 games from a friend of mine. I already beat Call of Duty 4 and absolutely loved it. The story was actually really good and I cared about every one of my squad mates. The multiplayer (for the few hours I played it) was very fun. The different classes make for good matches because you never know what your enemy's gonna have. For the record, I liked it more than Halo 3. At the moment I'm borrowing The Orange Box. I beat Portal immediately and now I'm about 8 hours into HL2. Both great games. HL2 owns HL in so many ways. I have yet to play Team Fortress 2 but it is definitely on my agenda. I also bought Lost Odyssey but have only played about 10 hours of it since I've been playing Orange Box and all. My favorite part about that game is the Thousand Year Dreams or whatever it's called. Episodically, Kaim will remember something from his past through a dream sequence. These sequences are completely text so if you don't like to read you will hate this. But for people who don't mind the words (and their length), you will absolutely love these segments. The writing of it is incredible and I would love to read a novel by whoever wrote this stuff (it wasn't Sakaguchi). Well that's about it. I'll try to post more frequently so they aren't all this long...but no promises have been made. Thanks yall. Last week, all in one day, I managed to complete both Shadow of the Colossus and Astro Boy for the Playstation 2. I have to say that both are excellent games and should at least be tried, especially Shadow of the Colossus. Yes, both of these games are somewhat old, but I just got them because I'm cheap and dont buy new games unless they have the words "final fantasy", "zelda", "metal gear solid", etc. in the title. Well that's it for today's blog! :D Short, I know. Dont fret though! I have decided to write a review every time I beat a game from now on. When will I write these reviews?? When I mutha frickin feel like it! Which is obviously not right now.

For most of you this is no big deal. It's really not even that big of a deal for me. I just wanted a reason to post a blog. Anyways.....a lot of people have been at lvl 20 for a while now and they also have upwards of 4000 posts. Why do I only have 1000?? Well I didn't post for about a year and I just now started again. And might I say, I am having just as much fun as I remember from back in the day. I've gotta give a shoutout to the Spooks Union and the Final Fantasy Experience union. The people on both of those unions are fun to talk to and are constantly posting. Conversations are always starting on different things so if you're looking for a good union I suggest joining both of those. Not much gaming has been going on for me. I've been forced to stay at a friend's house for about 5 days of the past week and he isn't even a gamer. Though I did persuade him to play some Super Smash Bros. with me, it's been mostly outdoor stuff for me *cringe*. It was not pleasant. But I am finally back home and ready to play some games!!! Until tuesday. For then I shall venture off into the land of Florida to visit my mother for 9 days. I love my mom. Really, I do. But she is strict. Extremely strict. Most of yall know that I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan. Well, my mom thinks FF is the devil. Hell, she thinks Harvest Moon is the devil (long story short: sprites are another form of demons). So I'm either gonna have to lie to her about what I'm playing or buy some crappy puzzle game I'll probably master within 30 minutes. Well, I'm off to bed now. Keep easy yall.

My old one was somehow erased and I just not got a new one. I'm cool. This new one is the main character from Grandia, in case you didn't know. So, I just beat Devil May Cry 1-3, and was quite impressed since this was my first time to play the series. I cant decide which was better, 1 or 3, but I DO know that 2 was freakin terrible. It was a stupid hack n slash with zero difficulty and like 3 cutscenes. I beat the first disc and then attempted to play the second. But I quickly stopped that when I realized that it's the exact same crappy game, but from the perspective of this stupid **** who I never even liked in the first place. Now i'm playing Shadow of the Colossus and having a lot of fun with it. It really reminds me of ICO, but I guess that's to be expected. There isn't much difficulty right now, though i've only beaten 4 of the Colossi so it's bound to get harder. I really want a 360, but I think i'm gonna wait on a price drop. There are still soooo many games on the PS2 that I want to play, so I might as well play those first since they're cheaper. But one of the reasons I want 360 is for Earth Defense Force 2017. It's so Japanese haha. It's really fun though. Co-op is ****in. And of course I cant wait for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Cry-On...but i've been waiting on those for a looong time. If you haven't watched the Blue Dragon anime yet, I suggest you do. I've seen up to episode 9 and it's amazing. So far, it's just as good as Toriyama's past anime (Dr. Slump, Dragonball, Dragonball Z), and that's saying a lot. I went to A-kon last week and had tons of fun. Texas has the best anime conventions. Even when the convention was closed, there were 3 different theaters that just showed anime all day and night. And ironically, there was a Pokemon marathon on cartoon network during the convention. I got some sweet Final Fantasy VII and VIII figures and Jump Ultimate Stars (DS). Jump Ultimate Stars was probly the coolest thing I bought. It's like Super Smash Brothers with anime characters and wifi. Well, that's all for now. Jesus loves you, but I hope you die.

Wow. I haven't posted anything on this site in a long time. I've been doing a lot of reading, schooling, footballing, and a bit of gaming of course. First I would like to encourage everyone to read some books by Chuck Palahniuk. I have only read 2 of his books but he is already my favorite author. The books of his I have read are Survivor and Fight Club (yes, like the movie). Fight Club is my favorite of the two but Survivor was amazing none the less. I guess I should talk about my latest gaming efforts seeing as this is a website based on videogames. I finally got Guitar Hero in august and i've been playing that most of the time, perfecting my skills. I have become quite good at it too. I also bought Okami last month. Though it is one of the better games i've played lately, i think it is overrated. It's not very difficult, the fighting is boring, and the puzzles are simple. Other than that, it's like Zelda. It's still a fun game though. Buy it, if you haven't already. And finally, i just borrowed Darkwatch from one of my friends. Fairly short, but gave me good entertainment for about 7 hours. Now, i know i'm posting in my blog and all, but this is no triumphant return for me. I will continue to only come to GS for updates on my tracked games. I'm quite content with talking about videogames with my friends on myspace (i'm such a loser). I have some good memories of GS, but there's just so many people now that if i post something on a message board it will be instantly flooded with replies most of the time. I have certain friends who's opinion i can trust. I'll just stick to asking them. Well that's all for now. I may post some more blogs now and then if i think about it. But until then, i'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Yall must have read the "BREAKING NEWS" by now. It's probly the greatest thing I've ever heard. I mean, the Wii already looked good with Red Steel, but now they've got Dragon Quest?! Frick yeah!!! And dont even get me started on FFXIII. Especially the one made by Nomura and the Kingdom Hearts team. I've been saying it for the longest time, "Kingdom Hearts would be the greatest game ever if it wasn't all Disney and smiles." Not only is there going to be a game that will most likely have a similar engine, but it's a Final Fantasy!!! See. There is a God. And he loves us very much.

Ok. I'm done asking. I guess i need to be a little more aggresive. COFOUND. I need people to cofound for me. I dont care if u ever visit the union. Just cofound. And please leave me a comment if you're going to. Come on yall. It's not that hard. Just agree to it and clear some space in your long list of unions you probly dont even visit.

I've decided that I am making a union based on everything Japanese. Music, games, anime, and manga will be main topics of discussion. The union is called AZN Pride. I need as many people as possible to join and I also need some people to cofound. Give me a comment or message me if you would like to cofound.
