I completely forgot about that, thanks. Still, I hope that the money that I have spent on the card doesn't end up wasted.

I thought about credit, but I am a little wary of using a card after the Sony debacle. I also don't want to just lose out on the $20 that I spent if the card cannot be redeemed. I have had that issue with PSN cards in the past and it can prove annoying.

I appreciate the reply. I just got kind of freaked when the issue arose and I had not heard of any other cases of it or any specific troubleshooting tips. I'll keep trying.

I downloaded the shop and the free content with no problems. I purchased a prepaid 3DS card earlier today at Gamestop and tried to redeem it without success. I am getting error code 005-5838, which is related to a connection issue according to support.nintendo.com. There is no way there is any connection issue as I have already successfully used the shop. Does anyone have any info or suggestions? My search through other gaming sites and google has not produced any results. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

That's a hard one. Both are in my top 10 all time games, but I guess I'll go with FF8 just because of the sheer amount of content in the game compared to Chrono Cross. Both are absolute masterpieces in my book.

I personally love the Dreamcast, but I guess PS2 wins because of the sheer number of titles.

I would probably start with the REmake for the Gamecube. You also can't go wrong with the original for the PS1.

I actually did go ahead and pick up an AES and some games. I'll give the full details in the New Acquisitions thread.
