[QUOTE="TJSAGE"][QUOTE="Asim90"]Just out of curiousity - When you PS3 froze did it turn itself off, or did you flip the switch at the back while it was still on?Asim90

Only think I could do was flip the switch, I did that and left it off for about 10 hours, came back home was able to get on for 5 min and then this happened. Just called sony and they are sending a damn box to send it in after I fill out some for they are sending through email. I still cant believe this happened

Now this is the problem, I think this is why so many people have been reporting this issue here lately. You do NOT do this people! If your PS3 freezes, hold down the power button for 3 seconds and it should restart. If this doesn't work hold it down for about 20 seconds, this will FORCE it to restart no matter what in a SAFE way. If you flip the switch at the back while it is on you will damage the system and corrupt the hard drive which is probably what happened. I'll bet my own PS3 that that is why so many people are experiencing this, I could me wrong but I'm sure it is. Seriously guys, read the manual. NEVER flip the switch at the backunless its on standby or you are moving your system to another location, otherwise there is no need to do it.

Well, I guess that makes me one lucky bastard. I've turned my PS3 off using the switch several times.

Sorry about your loss.

Sounds like a good idea (as long as they keep it optional). However, the temptation of skipping to anywhere in the game will probably just make more casual gamers.

I buy games for the campaign. If it has multiplayer, then great. If not, who cares.

Ummm... I don't think I like that idea. For some reason glasses really irritate me.

LittleBigPlanet hands down. I bought my PS3 for it, and I think I have spent at least 50 hours playing it.

I really like RPGs, but I haven't been able toget my hands on Valkyria Chronicles yet. Is it worth it?

Fallout 3 all the way. The atmosphere just blows my breath away.

Plus blowing up Megaton is insanely fun (I probably do it at least twice a day). Yes, I keep a save file just so I can blow up Megaton.

I don't know what to say.

You should at least meet in real life before you consider getting married. Playing a game of pool is not a long enough time to get to know someone who you are going to marry.
