Of course they are going to say that, they have a lot of money invested in games for the Wii U. Problem is, all those games are also on the other 2 platforms, so what do I need to buy a Wii U for when I can play them somewhere else?

People, people, before you post another irrational post, read the article again. He is not bashing violence in video games, he just says he doesn't want to do them himself anymore. I respect his decision, nothing wrong with it. On a side note, I think he should go work for That Game Company, he will fit perfectly there.
