might get it just for shits and gigs but if people aren't playing it online I might as well wait for a price drop I guess

Saw this in my steam queue and I kinda wanna cop it. Is it worth it? Are people playing this online still? I don't care if its a massive community, just big enough so that its fun and matches get set up quickly.

@JordanElek: haha that's pretty much the answer i was looking for. Not to trash the original, but if the remake has better graphics *and* sands over the parts of the game that havent aged well i might as well play that first.

Okay here's where I'm at: I love Zelda but have never played thru MM for whatever reason. Anyway, it turns out my friend pre-ordered the limited edition MM remake for 3ds and is sending it to me as a bday gift. I was gonna play thru the original before the remake came out (thinking I had plenty of time) but then Nintendo went ahead and announced the remake is coming out in less than a month.

So my question is, should I still play through the original in order to enjoy the differences in the remake more? Or should I just hold my horses and play through the remake when I have it? Keeping in mind that this would be my first time with MM, what's the wiser choice from a game appreciation perspective?

I saw them tonight at the Sinclair in Cambridge and I need to geek out with someone. Trouble is, none f m friends are fans :(

Let's kick off with favorite DFHVN concert moments....mine was screaming lyrics into George's face while he screamed back at me.

thanks! I'm leaning towards the DS version as my first play through, and then playing the original for kicks sometime in the future. Is there some way to turn off the voice acting in the DS version? I'm not a huge fan of it

Hey y'all, after recently playing bravely default, I decided I wanted some more old school jrpg flavor. I want to play FFIV (being a casual final fantasy fan I've never played through it) but I'm not sure which version to play. The DS version looks pretty fantastic and I found it for cheap, but it also looks like it moves at a very slow pace, which might be deal breaker.

FFIV advance moves lightning quick by comparison and I can play it for free. But its not as shiny as the DS version and I like the shiny. Plus I've read its got a fair amount of bugs and such. So what should I do? Be a purist and play the original? Or go with the shiny?
