I think the comparison is fairly simple. I own both systems and I am repeatedly disappointed with the PS3, because it is obvious that they have to build their games in native 720p while Xbox360 builds its games in 1080p. Even with the lesser resolution, the shaders and other graphical details, particularly lighting and distance drawing are better on the Xbox360. I find this disappointing, because, aside from the rumble feedback in the Xbox360 controller, I think the PS3 is a better-designed, better quality system. The XB sounds like a turboprop on takeoff, and the PS3 is sleek and nearly silent, and plays Blu Ray disks with ease. On the other hand the new Netflix service for the XB is awesome, even though the playback resolution is equivalent to a DVD. I think that about sums it up.
