Bored at work with nothing better to do.

I've come to realize that I buy way more music than I should, but I happen to enjoy every CD I buy in one way or another. I recently purchased "Veckatimest" by Grizzly Bear and I must say it's rather amazing. The drummer is insanely good in the most subtle of ways and the basslines constantly grab my attention. Any band that has the drums and bass down packed are usually worth a listen by me.

Speaking of my musical preferences, I'll be receiving a nice bass amp for Christmas this year. I haven't played my bass in over a year because my old (awful) amp had died. I used to play bass for hours every day for 6 years straight and now none of my fingers have a calus. I've been inspired by many different things recently (notably season four of Dexter) and have been itching to write new music. Hopefully I can start a band spread my ideas.

Other than that I'm waiting for Christmas to come and the snow to fall. Unfortunately only one of those events are certain.

-I'm currently a Junior Pre-Med student at the University of Cincinnati working on my Neuroscience degree. -I play video games way more than I should and I'm okay with that...just as long as it doesn't interfere with any important aspects of my life. -I play bass and guitar--bass moreso than guitar. -I have tons of music I like to share with whoever I can. I guarantee I can recommend a band you haven't ever heard of..probably ten of them. My favorite game franchise is tied between Zelda and Metal Gear Solid (don't think either will pass the other). My favorite games include Silent Hill 2, Shadow of the Colossus, MGS4, RE4, Earthworm Jim, Ocarina of Time and any game with addicting online game play (i.e. COD4 and Worms). As for my time spent on here, it will only be at work when I have a couple of hours to kill. Any questions, feel free to ask.
