I am not sure if this was covered in the other threads as I got through a couple of pages i realised there were over 50....... But anyways, this is still possible. Microsoft's aquire of Rare is still lending itself to nintendo. Only on the DS so far, I dont think theyd help with the wii? Or will they? I dont see the problem with letting use of banjo as if they arent planning to use him this is just a way microsoft can make more money (aka through liscensing fees). But it seems like microsoft has sorta backed alongside with nintendo against sony. As you can see this from the main leader (he did the 360conference and has the halo2 tatoo) defending nintendo in several interviews. Like his quote on "people will only buy two next gens, 360 and wii, and will be less then ps3 total." Anything is possible for characters.

OMG I NEED BANJO-KAZOOIE I would cry if he was in it. I am not even kidding. That would be the only way to express my joy.
Since Banjo and Kazooie are Rare characters, you won't see them in SSB. Sorry.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Snake's guest appearance is part of the gentlemen's agreement between Kojima and Miyamoto from a few years back.
