@Egotte: It's an amazing game. Bad News Baseball was one of my favourites for NES (Still is) and much like that, it's a ton of fun. Solid mechanics as well. I wouldn't call it crap.
@cboye18: You're actually quite right. Because the Nintendo market is flooded with indie and remake games, it looks impressive; but when you brush away the leaves from the trees, there aren't a crazy amount of remarkable exclusives. Heck, if you take every Mario game out of the equation, it's super thin.
@Barighm: First off, it's free. So that's a good thing. Second, the PS5 isn't introducing anything new. They're just visual and aesthetic upgrades. You're missing out on a great game.
These old RPG style games are supposed to have grinding elements to it. Why fault it for that? This reviewer wants things to be automated, but then what's the point of playing the game? By adding a FF option (2x, 3x, 4x) it's pretty much the best thing you could ask for in a RPG game.
You level up by killing enemies - gaining experience. I for one enjoy it. Crushing a game for its innate properties sounds pretty callous to me.
I wish they added some way to change the looks of your 4 characters. I don't want to play as a dude named 'Elvis' who sports a fedora and a chin strap beard.
