So Much Anger

I already typed this up once and the thing glitched, however I will persevere.
Why are the fanboys, generally the loudest, most vocal of an interest group's supporters, generally the least informed? It seems as though some find it their duty to distort facts, create bitter rivalries, and devote their entire lives to what amounts to nothing. The gaming industry is widely known for this tech-racism, but it seems to have afflicted every other part of our lives as well... music, other technology, our friends, what we wear, the list goes on and on. Self expression is great, I love that, but when you refuse to accept the merits of something simply because of a brand name or a certain label then your self expression has lost all validity and you've descended into pig-headed ignorance.
What really makes me shake my sandwich, is the total lack of information that many people spew to prove a point. America has gotten to a point where it's not who speaks best, it's who speaks the loudest that really counts. We follow the crowd, accepting the first assertive voice as our guide on everything. We no longer examine the doggerel being pushed down our throats, we nod our heads and except everything at face value, there's no objective scrutiny. This has devolved into more of a rant than a blog, but I'm sick of people bending the truth, I'm sick of the way people refuse to think for themselves, and I'm just sick of the **** that we have to put up with every day of our lives.
Our society is afflicted with diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain, and this imbalance is taking a toll on our country. People need to think for themselves, they need to become dependent upon their own thinking skills instead of taking the nonsense that people are spewing on every street corner. We're moving closer everyday to the society that's described in Fahrenheit 451, people are reading less, accepting everything at face value. We're moving slowly, inexorably to a world where instead of thought, we have acceptance, nub belief in whatever mouthpiece is being used loud enough to catch our attention.
Things need to be judged on merit, which the average person now seems incapable of doing. We need to move away from interest groups controlling our government and our society; but more importantly, we need to regain control of our minds.

This is the Albino, fighting the good fight.
