So why is the topic creator focusing on the PS3 sales drop... looks like the Wii and 360 dropped way more.

How did they drop way more exactly ? 360 went from 294K to 228K, a loss of about 60K and then to 200K, another 30K drop

PS3 dropped from 244K to 127K, a loss of 115K and then remeained same

So 360 lost 90K in sales, PS3 lost 115K, 25K more, and this is a NEW console, not one that is out 1 year already !!!!

I expect PS3 to drop way below 100.000, and 360 to rise to 300.000 again, after Two Worlds,Colin timed excluisve, Eternal Sonata, bioshock, Blue Dragon this summer, and with Mass Effect, Halo 3, Too Human and Lost Odyssey this holiday could easilly reach 600.000 monthly, PS3 has nothing to even sell 200.000 with this holiday

Plus buyers will expect Fable 2, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, Sacred 2, Alan Wake early in 2008, so 2008 sales will be stunning as well

You know, sometimes I REALLY wonder about those 360 numbers... 300k + 230k + 200k = 730k consoles that they have supposedly sold since January this year. Yet when you look at those console war sites, like vgchartz, it has been sitting in the mid-9 million range, when it should have WELL been over 10 million by now (worldwide).

And you didn't mention the Wii sales drop... 100k drop from Jan-Feb, and another 75k drop from Feb-March, and this is a NEW console as well.

Vgcharts is not a reliable source for console sales info. It is a guessing site that prefers nintendo and sony in their estimations. The opposite could be said about Nexgenwars where the 360 is selling much more than Vgcharts. Dont believe either go off of official sales numbers.
