i found no place on the web that could help me with this at all. alot of people complain about the dvd drive sticking whe you try to open it.

so...

(this doesnt void warrenty)

1. make the dvd drive eject. tap it or whatever to get it open.

2. hold the dvd drive open and turn off ur high performace xbox 360 gaming consle.

(your xbox should now be off with the dvd drive still open)

3.unplug the 360 and take it some where were u gots lots of light.

*the reason why it gets stuck is because the belt looses traction on the pully and the pully is just spinng but the belt isnt.*

4. use pliers to take off the little ruber band belt thingy.

###be carfull not to let the dvd go back into the consle without the rubberband because it will scare you to death..it happened to me. if this happens just find tht little buthole thing and put a paperclip in it.##

5. now with the dvd drive still open plug the power cord and the av cord back in (u plug in the av cord so u dont get the red light flashing anoyence)

6. go get sand paper right now. hurry up.

7. now when u press the button for the drive to open and close it wont move but you'l hear a electric motor running. thts the small little black circle thats spinning.

8. fold sand paper and keep opening and closing your drive while hold sand paper up in the pully thing so ull be kinda grinding it. the purpose is to make it rough.

9. when you think its rough enuff put the belt back in.

u may have to turn off and on ur 360 like 3 times till it works cas when u were opening the drive back nd forth and unpluging it ur xbox was like "omg wtf"
