I just finished Mass Effect. Wonderful game, the politics of the story line were pretty grasping. Right now that would have to be my favorite. Followed by Fall Out 3. I regret that I rented this game and beat in within the 5 day rental period. I wished I would have bought it and took my time playing it. It has endless possibilities and the character interaction is pretty in depth. Fable on XBOX was the game that got me into RPGs. I was soooo excited for the release of Fable 2. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. Don't take me wrong, it was a great game. But it was very linear in game play with not many open ended game play options (ex, Fall Out 3, exploration and character interactions are endless!) Oblivion is an all time favorite of many. But closing Oblivion Gates gets pretty boring and repetitive. The graphics and gameplay overall are getting pretty dated. But it is absolutely worth playing. Eternal Sonata is very visually stunning and the combat operating system is a bit unique. Its story line is great to follow too. But its limited in game play, there's not much else to do except follow the main story quest. I'm waiting for an RPG that will combine the game play of Fall Out 3 and Oblivion (unlimited possibilities and huge world exploration) with the story and characters of Fable 2 (character interactions, etc).
