Yes Uncharted 2 had great pacing and I loved that game. But Uncharted 3 so far just seems to be nothing but over the top moments. He gets shot at a LOT before entering the plane and then jumps from a jeep to the wheel. Then when on board he doesn't even have time to think because he is caught and the set pieces start over again. Im sure the game will have its quiet moments but so far everything from the Uncharted 3 videos are saturated with set pieces. Remember the U2 videos from before, it had him running around all wuiet for the first half and then the second hal all hell broke loose. But in the videos so far for Uncharted 3 its constant fighting and action. And no that's not a good thing. Look how much S*** COD gets for this style of game

So what you are asking is for ND to show you parts where Drake is just walking around, not fighting enemies?

They are showing you what to expect, same as the UC2 previews.

And just like Uncharted 2 they are spoiling people by showing their trump cards a long time before release. How much do you wanna bet that the chateau, boat and plane are 3 of the biggest most memorable set pieces of the entire game? And don't say "You don't have to watch them" because anyone who wants to play the game bad enough is going to look. Its like giving a kid his christmas presents in september and saying "You can open them if you want or wait until christmas day"

well you dont I have only watched the boat one

I'd recommend you get a ps3. you miss out on more if you get an xbox 360. Ps3 also has more variety among types of games ranging from open world games like infamous and shooters like uncharted and completely unique games like heavy rain. also sony has more and better 1st party developers than mircrosoft so that mean better and more exclusives

also with xbox your gonna have to pay for online.

[QUOTE="PrettyHateMx"]Naughty Dog are trying WAY too hard. seanmcloughlin

So are Epic in my opinion. Nowadays dev's keep trying to push too much crap in our faces that they forget about pacing. A goos SP game needs high points and low points. Thats why I like the look of the BF3 single player. Sure it might not be fantastic or anything but it has its action packed parts and its tension filled walking around parts. Just look at shadow of the colossus. Most of that game was wandering around on a horse and yet the games is excellent

I disagree. the pop and shoot rinse and repeat of tps is extremly boring imo. And no game this gen had better pacing than uncharted 2 imo. These setpieces and over the top segments are awsome becuase they provide a new fresh gameplay eviroment from level to level.

So we're going off of pure speculation that Gamespot doesn't aknowledge 7-7.5 as a "Good" score (They would have changed it by now if they thought that way) Instead of the cold hard facts that are right under that oh so "terrible" score 7.5?

FoolwithaLancer

inFamous 1: 9/10

inFamous 2: 7.5/10

It is general knowledge that inFamous 2 is the same if not better than inFamous 1 in a lot of ways. So where did the 1.5 difference come from?

Read the review. They gave it a low score for Quote

"Laughable Morality sytem, Unbalanced Combat, and Uneven pacing."

Two of those reasons are pretty big.

yeah but they are not true. the man said his self that he only used his favorite powers thats why the gameplay was unbalanced. the gameplay is balanced just fine the only time the fighting gets unbalance is whwn people make ugc with too many enemies.

He calls the morality system laughable and uses an inaccurate example of blowing away everyone in a hostage situation saying you get good karma which is blatantly false. (lol there is actually a sign that comes up and say bad karma killed hostages)

Also the moraility actually changes the game this time unlike putting just a different tent like the original. He says the choices are not gray like the original original : do I let this guy get hung or walk away? imfamous 2 : is it right to sacrifice thousands to save millions? and it's a **** open world game the pacing depends on the player.

review was terrible I cant belive a professional wrote it.
