Rocking Out

Hello my lovelies!

Soo I finished Alan Wake about a week ago or so, and it was a great, although short, experience. I havent decided if I'm gonna run through it again for collectibles/achievements. I usually dont have the patience for that kind of thing, you know. But that game is definitely cool enough to make an exception.

I also picked up Rock Band recently on ebay. Actually it came with Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero 3, Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero Aerosmith, GH Smash Hits and GH Metallica, plus a few fake instruments for 70 bucks. I figured it was a deal, especially since I'd never played any of these music type games and I've been wanting too. I'm gonna have to add Lego Rock Band to my Gamefly queue. =P

Its been kinda funny getting used to the guitar controller. It feels awkward playing it in almost every position I hold it in, because my left hand doesnt wanna play nice. I found early success holding it like a left handed person and using my right hand to hit the middle buttons and my left hand to strum. This however led to aches, cause the fake Fender is way too big. So I tried this with the Guitar Hero 2 guitar, (the oddly shaped one), and it feels a lot better. I also spent most of yesterday calibrating the game and it feels a lot better in terms of hitting notes. I'm progressing through the solo tour mode slowly, but surely, I completed all the songs on easy, and am slowly going through the medium level.

The money raised at tonight's benefit concert will go to benefit the victims of last night's concert =P

Anyone else excited for Lego Harry Potter on Tues.? I definitely wanna play it, after enjoying such Lego titles as Lego Star Wars and Lego Indy. Ive been debating getting Lego Batman off XBL's Games on Demand thingie.

Anyway hope you all have a great weekend and rest of the week!
