Mark Twain/Jane Austen are still my favs. in terms of modern writing, I enjoy David McCollough quite a bit.

@korvus: Good God, you're o...only 30! >.>

Were you expecting to wake up and be a totally different person? =P

Psychologically speaking, from a development point of view, you've passed the recently added "emerging adulthood" phase of life, proposed by Jeffery Arnett in 2000, which spans the years 18-25, and serves as something of a transition phase between adolescence and full adulthood.

It might be that 30, is considered by many to be the first milestone in the journey that spans full adulthood, (i.e. making it to such a point is an accomplishment in and of itself). While there are many milestones on the way to 30, a variety are religious or cultural in nature, and 30 itself is a more universal milestone.

  • When dipshits smack their lips while they eat, or lick their fingers loudly, or god forbid, freaking slurp and suck on everything. I know someone who could be eating a pork chop or a damn piece of pizza, and freaking suck and slurp on it when he bites into it. The sound of the saliva as he sucks food into his mouth is disgusting.
  • People who let their farts rip around people and don't give a shit. I'm like "**** you."
  • People who make pathetic little messes and don't even bother to clean it up. Like, motherfucker, you dropped crumbs on the floor. Fucking clean them up or I'll shove them up your ass.
  • Cynics. **** them.
  • Control freaks. Who the hell do you think you are?
  • When pillows sit wrong on the couch, like with their corners folded wrong or creased wrong or whatever.

There's more, I'm sure.

Reading the last 2 in reverse order made me laugh XD

Did this too, before I saw your comment, too funny.

Weirdly enough, when people approach me and ask me what I'm reading/listening to in ways of starting a conversation. To me, reading or listening to music with my headphones on is like relaxing in a private place where I don't want to be disturbed so it just feels like somebody walked into the bathroom while I'm taking a bath and decided to start chatting with me.

Mhh here in the netherlands most people avoid conversations with strangers, so it shouldn't happen too frequently to you :)

Most 20-somethings around here are still pretty given to starting conversations with strangers if they're sitting next to you somewhere, but contrarily to Portugal they approach me with a "Hi" and not with a "what are you reading?", which is fine by me. No idea why it's such a personal thing for me though, I don't think most people would mind answering.

"What are you reading?"

Hey guys. So my latest pair of earbuds are pretty much on there last legs, and to be honest I've been finding them really uncomfortable recently anyway. So, with some of the money I got for working over Christmas I've decided to buy myself a pair of quality headphones, and I'm looking for some suggestions.

Now, a lot of my friends all have Beats, but after trying some I don't buy the hype. Sure they look good, and seem fairly comfortable, but something about the sound quality seems off, and for the price they're asking that the last thing I wanna be skimping on.

What I'm currently leaning towards is a pair of Sennheiser Momentum. I've heard a lot of good things about these, and I know Sennheiser is a very respected make, however I've not been able to listen to a pair myself and It's a lot of money to drop on a pair I know little about.

So anyone got any advice? What do you currently use? I'm open to any suggestions.

I use a PlayStation 4 Wireless Gold Headset. It works with laptops as well as the PlayStation 4. Also, it has a microphone. This headset works well with Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound and hours of battery life. I have not done it, myself, but it might be possible to use a USB to headphone jack to make it a more portable headset (for your phone/music player/etc.).

thought about picking one of those up for the ps4.

I use a pair of Beats 2.0's, I got for my birthday. They are nice but i wouldn't pay for them, I'd get Sennheisers instead.
