Saying that people will be able to pay their rent just by playing D3 might be a bit of a stretch. I mean if your playing 60 hours a week then maybe, but I don't think the cost of rare items is going to be that crazy. and if it is the chances of finding enough to pay your rent is going to be quite difficult.

If you have a normal 40 hour a week job and can only really play the game 10-15 hours a week max, I don't think you are going to be able to make any significant money playing the game.

Having said all that, I am certainly excited about D3 and will probably waste a good amount of time this winter playing it! For myself I see the auction house as a way to sell some extra items to save up for something else I want for a character.

anyone hear any news on if this will be better for either PS3 or xbox 360? The IGN reviews didn't mention any differences...

yea they tell you not to send in anything except the console itself. Take out any disks, harddrives, wireless adapters and disconnect all cables. Anything sent in with the repair is gone forever.

is the hunter a good character solo? or is he better in a team?

I also had that problem for a long time. Eventually you will start to learn the map better and follow the beeps that tell you when to turn. Even after that I still need to check the map at the beginning of every race and sometimes during races.

The game is also a lot more fun depending on how you play it. If you lose a race dont backtrack to the beginning of that race, just find another event close by. This makes the game alot more fun and less tedious.

I havent played this game in a long time and i never did get the last license where you need to complete every event on the map. I got within like 15 events and it started to get boring since i was down to just race events and they were all in the city and raced out into the country. so if i lost one i had to go all the way back into the city and it got boring to me.

i think you only get 46 points to spend so you want to concentrate them on certain areas in order to get to the bottom of one tree.

Playing through with Roland is a breeze, I only died 2-3 times in the entire game. I am currently trying to play through as Siren.

People keep saying this. and it doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not dying a ton but you must have been running away a ton to only have died a couple times the whole game. There are times where you get to an area where everyone is either better than you or there are just tons of enemies and they bombard you. So you must be running away a lot to only have died a couple times.

So I've been playing with Roland, up to level 17 and the turrent really doesnt do it for me.

Is there a better character to play through the game offline by yourself?

Is bloodwing or phasewalk that cool and effective?

I went out to a different area I hadnt been to yet and the guys were good but beatable, went up to 17 and found a good SMG with 3x electric damage and went back to the dogs and it helped a lot. I'm going to go do a bunch of side missions now and then go back to the main mission guy. thanks for the help.

Whats the best way to use the skill points with Roland? I probably should have picked a different character if i was going to play solo the whole way. Is the game more fun solo using one of the others?
