@smouche_mole: Thanks, I see now it's a new quest/pursuit from Petra. I have been grinding Blind Well and doing other activities in between (FINALLY did Leviathan raid for the first time last night), but still no 2nd seed of light. Decided to just take a break and do the story with one of my other characters.
Dang nabbit, so Breakthrough is another chance to get a seed of light? I still only have one new super, none have dropped from the few times I've done blind well (I'm not even 540 yet). But my two matches of Breakout left a bad taste in my mouth...
@JustinGoSka: The biggest problems with Halo 5: Forge are the performance (since it's not a "proper" game there are no drivers that are optimized for it, though usually it's fine), and the lack of an in-game FoV slider. It's nauseating for many people, playing a game with console FoV on a PC. There are third-party apps like GameCheat13's Exuberant mod tool that allow you to change FoV (and much more), but it's obviously not officially supported and prone to breaking.
Not to mention no matchmaking. Obviously if someone's hosting a game, the browser makes it nice and easy to find it, but that relies on someone (whether it be you or some rando) hosting, and it can take ages for people to join games to the point where I don't find it worthwhile.
The ENB plus terrible textures made it look like a whiteboxed version of a level in the Unreal Editor. (Basically, what level designers use to quickly prototype a level before art is put in.)
It's great that they're updating MCC, but will those without an Xbox One X even notice much of a difference aside from the matchmaking improvements? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
I just wish the game came to PC. I've moved on from Xbox and have been making do with Halo Online, Halo 5: Forge, and news about Installation 01 and Project Contingency. I do miss the campaigns though. They're what drew me to Halo in the beginning.
@PETERAKO: I wasn't aware at the time that they got even greedier. Now I don't really care. Haven't spent a cent on Eververse in D2, and only purchased Silver once in D1.
Which means it's even more of a shame that I probably won't get a single one of them. My luck is absolutely terrible, whether it be loot boxes or IRL gambling.
I didn't get a single skin last Halloween, and only one for the Uprising and latest Summer Games events (I did get some older Summer Games skins but only one new one).
