I started watching videos on that new LOTR games, it looks pretty decent, and the fact that it has online means its a definate buy from me. I personally LOVED battlefront 2 on the PS2 and played it constantly, so if Pandemic can make this new game just as thrilling, I'm all for it.
I've been thinking about whether or not to purchase a 360 sometime in the future, I really hope "newer models" that are coming out this fall are much better than the piece of junk hardware that is out now. A lot of "lemmings" aren't TOO annoyed that they have to constantly send their system to Microsoft for repair or replacement due to the dreaded RRoD. This is something that really makes me hesitate on buying one of these systems, I don't care what system it is, or how good the games are, if the system I bought for three hundred+ dollars keeps on "malfunctioning" with the annoying RRoD then you're damn right I'm going to get upset, I would assume that a lot of 360 owners would be furious with this(I'm sure a couple are) but most of them have no problem with it because "its free repair" or "the games are just so good I don't mind". I personally don't care, thats an annoyance that I don't wish to bear when I purchase this system, hell, no 360 owner should have to go through three or more 360's, thats really ridiculous, I mean come on.
Enough about gaming, my junior year is going to start soon, and I can't say I'm COMPLETELY delighted, considering the amount of work this year is going to demand of me. I'm taking about two APs. and Journalism and Newspaper club are going to eat a lot of my time. With all the new games(I just cant stop including games, even if I'm off-topic, lol) coming out this year and the next, I wonder if I can even play and enjoy them while keeping up with my school work.
We'll just have to see.
