Anyway I was going to buy Resident Evil Zero, but wasn't too sure. While I do enjoy REmake and RE4, RE0 is probably the worst RE game I've played but I still thought it was an okay game. Since they had about 8 copies left, I decided to wait and ask you guys. It's $20 (Canadian). Should I buy it?Nintendogamer33

Normally I'd say yeah, but if you didn't think it was that great the first time around then you probably won't enjoy it that much this time either. Personally I thought it was great but it sounds like you'd just be buying it because it's cheap, not because you particularly enjoyed playing it. Save your money for another game that you'll really enjoy instead.

Like so many people have said, it would be an extremely poor business decision to release MP3 on Gamecube as sales just wouldn't justify the cost of porting the game. There aren't gonna be any more Nintendo titles for Gamecube, so let the Gamecube die with dignity... instead of demanding remakes of Wii games that are never gonna happen. Twilight Princess was a great final game (but a poor business decision, because it meant a lot of Gamecube owners had no need to get a Wii) and there's definitely no need for another "final" Gamecube game.

Check out this topic, which also asked people to choose between those two games:

I dunno. One of the fun things about Dead Rising is the over the top ways to kill zombies; it's not just the variety but the humour involved. A lot of variety is very tongue in cheek; shopping trolleys, giant lipsticks, skateboards, guitars, cd's, cans of juice, water guns... Think about it, it's ridiculous and funny, and that's just what Capcom intended! Plus it's all guilt free fun (the zombies are already dead anyway) and shows a lot more imagination than punch, kick, shoot or run over.

They did announce it a while ago. But they recently said they hadn't even started production yet.gazoz

If it's been confirmed or announced then do us all a favour and link to the site that confirmed it. The truth is, it's NOT been confirmed OR announced yet. The only thing that even comes close is this:

So... whilst it's likely that a sequel will happen, there's been no actual confirmation of a sequel by Capcom.

Actually, in the demo of the game there is a bit of that 'RPG element' and customization. I only played the demo for like 20 minutes due to it being a boring game.ISuperGamerI

Oh really? So what RPG elements did you experience in that short time?

I dunno how you can continue to defend an opinion you made based on a short play of a demo... a demo where most of the important gameplay elements of the full game are missing! Perhaps you could start another topic; Saints Row vs 20 minutes of the Dead Rising Demo?

Within the context of the storyline, Saints Row can get rather boring. However, if you're creative enough to devise a personality (which in-game clothing happily facilitates), then you can easily gather fun going through the most mundane tasks.

On the other hand, if you are either irked by the thought that you might have to create something in your mind to play a game rather than the creators developing a solid idea ahead of time, then you might like the relatively more straightforward narrative of Dead Rising.FinalMyrmidon

Whilst the clothing in Saints Row is customisable, Dead Rising also gives you choices over the clothing you wear, with hundreds of different combinations possible. Saints Row has far more options, but your post seems to ignore Dead Rising's clothing altogether.

I'm also puzzled by you saying Dead Rising's narrative is relatively straightforward when it has muliple branches and is, in effect, completely open-ended. There are several different endings and countless way to play through, with the choice of missions being completely up to the individual.

Also, if you're obnoxiously obsessed with the idea of killing people in as many ways as possible, then it might be a good choice. For myself, I find it bizarre that the variety of ways you can kill something would equate to enjoyment.FinalMyrmidon

The criticism of Dead Rising's variety when it comes to killing (I'd disagree that you'd need to be "obnoxiously obsessed" to find it fun) seems ill-fitting when compared to Saint's Row's equally violent and varied, but considerably less imaginative, ways of killing; punches, kicks, guns and cars... nothing that hasn't been seen in any other GTA-style sandbox game.

That is my OPINION of the game. I have also read some reviews and whats so fun about rescuing survivors over and over again? I actually did only play thegame for about 10 to 20 minutes and quit. I also think the RPG element was lame aswell.ISuperGamerI

So you haven't actually fought any of the bosses or rescued any of the survivors. And you won't have had time to make any progress at all with the "RPG element". Basically, your opinion is based on a twenty minute play where you experienced only a tiny fraction of what Dead Rising has to offer!

I enjoyed playing both games (and I've played both of them for a lot longer than 20 minutes... ;) ), but I'd say Dead Rising was the better game.
