you could always invest $30 in a travel kit... or $9 for a simple case. I got my travel kit at BB for $30 and it came with the hardback case, which holds games and the DS, plus a travel charger, ear buds, three skins, two screen protectors and a cleaning cloth. unless you are rolling around in the woods with your DS, you shouldn't have problems keeping it clean and safe.
chef wont take the chilis cause he is in a bad mood. try talking to him a little before giving him the chilis. his mood has to be in the green. don't try giving him other gifts, like a peach, as that will just make him angrier.
as for the bridge, go ahead and cross it, you'll be ok.
i like it, but it is a long drawn out game, which I like. i hate being able to play a game for a few hours and have it beat. if you are a problem solving type of person and like simulation games, this is for you.
he is grumpy with you for not bringing his chilis. my problem was that everytime i tried to talk to him, before even delivering the chilis, my character would say "mooshie mooshie blag" at him, i'm guessing making fun of him, which would make him even more angrier. i had to basically keep trying to just talk to him until his mood was in the green and then was able to give him his chilis.
